Hi All,

Does anyone know why, when I follow the install instructions per the PDF and add the genital to my G8F per the PDF instructions, I get a completely different color for the genital than the default skin color for G8F? It looks like my character has a tan vag on a pale white body...

I know it has something to do with the shell because if I load the genital, skip the shell, and load the MAT copy, everything works out correctly, but I am missing the additional reddish color which adds more details of course.

When I load the genital, load the shell, and load the MAT copy, the color comes out wonky. I tried using the shell fix but nothing changes even when I have the Golden Palace selected and nothing else.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or are you able to replicate this error I am having?

I already emailed Meipe, but no response yet.

I am running DAZ3D 4.12 Pro on Windows10, using the base G8F model with nothing added to her except for the Golden Palace genital.

I have not, I will try this.

I also went back and noticed that although there are not other mod requirements, you do say that you need victoria 8? Could that also have something to do with it not working properly?

Thanks for replying!

*Edit: I just tried saving and reloading the scene with no success. I also bought Victoria 8 thinking that this was the problem, but loading on the Golden Palace has the same discoloring effect.

**Edit 2: Went back to install this manually and when I rendered it, it came out fine even though the display field showed discoloring. I deleted the manual install and added golden palace with DIM again and same thing. It rendered without issue even though the display field showed different skin shade. I think that what was missing was I did not have Victoria 8!

I am having some strange issues too..unfortunately, although I am new to DAZ I followed the instructions to the letter, and for a day, it all worked fine..and I was and am super impressed! Howver..then...now I can load the three first steps ..but.when I go to add on the specific shape/morph for the vagina...it simply does not show..its as if there is a layer hiding it, although I can zoom into the figure itself and see th einternal parts...I tried reinstalling the files..and now I get a strange grey area over the genital area..Im really not sure what to do, all other non daz content I have from Rendererotica works fine.but..for some reason, getting this to work properly elludes me..and sadly...now the renders are woefuly "lacking"..like a unix..any help would be appreciated.I am dragging and dropping the runtime, data and people folders to my daz library in the general area, not creating any subfolders..yet.its a no go ;((

AS I mentioned..for two days it all worked fine..then.bam..the issue above, since I did a manual install, and am quite sure I am installing the folders to the proper area (same where I install other non daz licensed content)..is there a way to manually uninstall the GP and then start over again? Which specific file folders should I look for to make sure IM getthing all of them properly unisnstalled..please..any help would be appreicated..I want to continue on the daz quest, I've been modding games and know my way around files and libariers...used jssme for years to mod games..and..simply cant figure it out..the product LOOKS fantastic..and I so want to keep using it!

Anyone? the issue happens no matter what female figure I chose to apply the item to, I can apply the genatalia and then zoom in on the area, and hide (derender) the polygons over the crotch area, and then it does show the vagina, so it is being applied, it is there, but somehow its covered unless I manually hide the polygons.

Without any screenshot it's difficult for me to guess what's going on...

Maybe you did activate some tool in the Tool Setting  tab that is unparenting the graft? If yes, switch back to the node selection tool

So, I see in the upper left hand top of the screen near the top left the "tool" tab..once I click on that..I get a drop down menu..what should be my next step? I dont see the tool area you are seeing.and probably dont have my daz configured like you do..

SUCCESS...I think...;) So I now see what you mean about selecting a node before I apply the graft..so..the whole figure is the "parent" and each node is a child to the parent, and I must select the particulare node (chile) when affixing items? Is there a good book you can recommend besides trial and error? Thanks again you not only solved my problem but helped me understand this scene/node issue..I think I need to get a book though ;) IM flying blind but still making some progress..:)
