If you are converting G3 to G8, Zevo has his new XTransfer converter that might be just up yur alley.  Since it is new is is still on sale for 30% off.  Just head over to Daz and do a search for XTransfer.

thanks billyben & mjw for your replies, I've tried both of them (xtransfer has crashed and I had an error using the other)
