Out of curiosity mostly, why is Help & Support a moderated subforum? That's where a lot of people will first go for help, considering it's called 'help & support'. Just wondering.

I would assume that as the READ ME First sticky post claims It has to be cleared by an admin moderator for content clarity as I would guess they want that person seeking help and support to get the most accurate response that is out there.

I could be wrong, but I think out of the context I took from the sticky thread, was for issues with products, payment issues, ect. It is faster to get help with the contact us method then simply posting in the forum waiting for a mod to respond. If the admin has a direct line, they can direct the issue to said vendor, where as just posting to the forum and waiting till someone with knowledge of the issue, or the vendor themselves see the message in forum. I think this being help and support is the site issues portion, rather than a vendor support forum. Their is another forum dedicated to vendor support, so may be the difference, but like I said I could be wrong, I don't know for sure.

Shadoman has a great point also about accurate info to the issue, as well.
