Ran foul of this tonight until I purchased a VPN and deleted tracking cookies off my PC....
I thought this had been put off indefinately here in the UK, so if I vanish one day it's because I can't get here.....
Funny thing is I can actually access other porn sites....
Fucking piss take.....
Anyone else in the UK had this today..?

Yes, I did. I signed up for NordVPN (couple of quid a month) and it appears to have sorted it. I did try using AVSecure but it wouldn't accept my driving licence or mobile phone. I even tried my partners and it wouldn't accept his either.

We were able to verify that the Age Verification requirement by the UK which was due to start today was postponed. Subsequently, we have turned the Age Verification system back off. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear CGBytesTech,
Before turning Age Verification on again, please can you make sure it actually works - ie it is possible to get verified. The system you are using quite clearly is not actually 'live' yet. I could not get it to work using any of the three methods they offer. Even the shops listed on their website as selling the damn cards said they had never heard of it. I even tried the US site, and other proxies, all of whom said not up and running. Unfortunately there was no way to get in touch with you to inform you that it was all a mess up by dear old UK Gov (who are preoccupied with other things right now, just a bit). I would hate to see you losing business over this. It must have cost enough hassle to get this time waste installed in the first place. I predict it will have no effect on the porn industry whatsoever but primarily will penalise small businesses serving minority communities on the margins of porn. I look forward to being proved wrong.
