I now have 2000 items from Daz and at least that many from other companies... How to people keep track of everything.  I keep discovering I have an item that I didn't remember having and it's driving me batty......  Is there a way to create a directory of everything in the Daz and Poser directories??    Help

Someone please say yes. My problem is several times this magnitude, and if I know I have something, finding it is often a long, time-consuming, and frequently pointless task.

Someone please provide a workable solution. I have many times this many and if I can recall them, finding them is often a major problem.

I do have a solution only it doesn't involve a Daz*deleted*Rotica specific software. It's more of a method.

Years ago I stopped using Windows Explorer as a way to navigate my folders. I am using Directory Opus instead.
If you are thorough with your products collection, making categories and subcategories, you can store your stuff
and use the Find function of Directory Opus to pinpoint any item much faster than Windows Explorer could ever do it.
If youaccompany each product with one properly named promo image, running a search for a keyword will take you
straight to the right product. It also works for categories: you can look for a folder named "Lingerie" and you will find
the proper folders.
What truly matters is that you keep youir collection well sorted and indexed.
"That was fun. Let's do it again."
