Btw, any characters that are encrypted, I won't be buying so no need to make those. :) And haven't bought Gia7, and may not do now. Might be worth checking out interest in the later releases, seeing as the no plans to encrypt content lasted a long time after 4.9 release.

I am still using 4.8, so I need to upgrade to 4.9 if I purchase Gia 7?

No, Gia 7 is available as a normal DIM installation or manual installation. However, no guarantees on future content. 4.9 will be necessary if you want to use the DAZ Connect functions of the program.

With the creation of "Legacy UVs for Genesis 3: G2F" by CaymanStudios at Renderosity, is there any chance you'll be adding a G2F UV to your V7 product? :)

Ultimately, I don't think I will get it because I've tried to make Genesis 2 as good as possible in my workstream. Conceivably, there are a batch of UVs within the New Gens for V6 2.0 (which is set up similarly to the New Gens V7 prop), and then there's the script... so marrying the V7 prop to the V6 2.0 UVs might not be a huge leap in terms of tech/scripting. That being said, this new Rosity product also involves Geo shells in the thigh area. I don't know how those shells would interact with the rest of the body & the prop. That's a concern that I'd have. At the end of the day, all of those considerations made me decide not to buy that product until others bought it first & experimented with it. So good luck with that! (I have no idea what 3feetwolf's buying plan will be in this area.) What happens when you staple/autofit the V6 genital prop (which should have the UVs for G2F) to the Genesis 3 body?

I looked at it and decided to see if anyone here was using it; I'm with cheesymaid, let us both know how you get on with anyone who buys it.:)

Nice work my friend! A quick question I am having some issues with a stange pattern appearing. Looks like a layer of some kind coming through. See this link: http://pasteboard.co/16tZp1ml.jpgThis occurs after using the Genesis 3 Female(s) Wet Body Iray package with your Victoria7 Gens. It appears pre render & post render. If I delete the Wet Body from the scene, although it disappears this 'shape' displays from the Viewport view it still renders. Any idea as to why this happens & how to avoid? Thanks for your help! pictureKid attached the following image(s):

Hey pictureKid, Wet Body is a geoshell which is perfect because it doesn't touch any textures so you can use it on different UV mapped characters. In order to get the new gens to match color there is some manual editing that needs to be done but it's easy. First apply the gens then whichever option of wet body you want. Then in the scene tab, expand the character tree and you should see the geoshell listed. I have Rolling Water highlighted. Then in your surfaces tab expand Rolling water & you'll see the 4 items for the new gens listed. However off the bat they are not iray shaded. Highlight all 4 and apply the Iray Uber Base shader first then simply select say the torso item under the Rolling water tree, copy, select the 4 gen items simultaniously or one at a time and then paste. The first picture I've attached is an older one I did for someone before I added the iray uber to it. The second one is a new one that I did and shows the Iray uber plus the copied materials from the torso section of rolling water. tattooedillusions attached the following image(s):

Awesome. Thanks so much & for the speedy reply.
I got stuck trying to figure out how to apply the Iray Uber Shader. For anyone else, go to your Content Library > Daz Studio Formats > My Daz 3D Libary > Shader Presets > Iray > Iray Uber
Thanks again tattooedillusions

No problem at all pK glad to help. Ah yeah sorry I forgot to mention where the Uber shader was. Just so used to doing it that it slipped my mind. Glad you got it sorted out. Cheers!

Thanks for Olympia; must find her something to do now, although she was quite firm about it not being too exciting (I have absolutely no idea what she meant.).

I see, thanks :) One thing to know though: some fella told me that unlike Gia 7, Gianni 7 will requiure 4.9 to work properly or else (I quote) "he woill look too red. It's got to do with the changes made in the iRay rendering in 4.9." I thought I'd let you guys know :) "That was fun. Let's do it again."
