As an aside, I guess, Zev0's Shape Shift morphs include genitalia dials.

Now, they don't work directly on the labia... but you can morph the general size of the genital area (including length and width). I found it useful, anyway. It's a great set of dials, period.

EDIT:
Raiya's Brooklyn with 3feetwolf's new gens + a size assist from Zev0's morphs.

So the error still occurred even if you have deleted part of the subfolders? That's very strange...
Perhaps there is still an old version of NGV7 has been installed on your computer?

Yeah, you were right. After I redownloaded the new versions of all the previous NGV7 and once again cleaned all the folders on my PC it finally worked. Thank you very much!

First I would like to say 3feetwolf you have some amazing products and I really like most of the features in this one.

There is just one issue I am having and for me it is one of the most important reasons I moved over to g3f in the first place. The way the genitals move with the pose of the legs. Your Gens dont though.

Is there a reason? Is it just me that has this problem and I'm doing something wrong?

If you need to see what I mean, pose G3f with standard Gens and legs out at 50%(anything really will do) and then overlay with the same character with NGV7. The new gens are in the wrong place, they haven't followed the pose.

Want to say again, love your product, all of them, but this is the only reason I can't use it.

Hello,

I've tried to follow your description to reproduce the problem.
But maybe I misunderstood what you mean, so I don't see the difference between standard Gens and NGV7.
Could you please post some pictures to describe in detail?
Thanks :)

Nice picture blush
And Thanks for sharing, I also did not realize that the new gens can be combined with other tools...
Your advice is very helpful to other users.

If you are planning any additional morphs in the future, 3feetwolf, I can think of two or three things.
The one I would put on top of my list is a morph to stretch the opening of the ussy "length" wise.
As of now, it stretches well sideways but not forwards and backwards. A second one would be a
way to make the clitoris "extend" or poke out of its hood and last but not least, it would be great
if we could part the pussy hole from the anus in a more distinct way for clear DP shots.

Other than that, I can't think of anything this figure would need :)

Thank you for the suggestions, but now I am busy making the correction morphs for NGV6-2.0, which is a difficult and long-term work.
So I could not release these new morphs in the near future :(

Ok, I hope these photos work,

I have entered x2 G3F characters into DAZ, posed the same, same skins etc and no morphs (Gensclosed is the only one used for NGV7). The only difference is the NGV7 or standard Gens are hidden or visible

Standing/base pose. Notice the height of the standard gens, I understand that different people have different gens but here they should be the same.
UserPostedImage

Second is with the legs posed at 50%out. See the distortion starting at the thighs (red circle).
UserPostedImage

Now with the legs at 100% out. I understand we are talking about extreme poses here but it shows the issue I am talking about (I am also sure we want G3F/V7 to be able to be VERY flexible). UserPostedImage

This is where you see the gens are not posing with the character. The end result is that the gens appear to be protruding from the character instead of flush with the body. In fact the gens are positioned to far within the body instead of the whole area moving together.

Now, I really want to stress that I want to find a solution for this as you do amazing work. I hope this clears it up.

Thank you for your detailed description, now I can see where the problem is, and am very happy to discuss this issue with you.
When creating this prop and its morphs, I always make them consistent with the real human body structure as much as possible.
Not only the gens itself, I also taking into account the body parts connected thereto.
So the distortion we talk about is actually gracilis muscle or long adductor muscle.
When the thigh open, these muscles clearly appears(please see attached picture).
In other words, when a human's leg flare outward, the inner side of her thigh is not flat.
So when I was making the corresponding morphs, I tried to simulate this situation.
However, due to the topology, there is not enough polygons to perfectly show the details of this area(including buttock, thigh muscles etc).
Perhaps this is reason that you thought that it is distortion, I apologize.

Hi 3FW,
Sorry, missed your reply to my earlier question re scripts. Thanks.
The problem now is that on my figure the forward tip of the labia and the anus 'ring' are white. How do I provide the correct colour please?
I don't seem to be able to upload an image, as it asks for an http address, and I don't have one. There is an attach files radio box, but no actual means of doing so as far as I can tell....

Hello, I am not sure whether you are using the newest version of NGV7 or not.
If the latter, please download the latest installation package and re-install(you need to delete the old NGV7).
Then run the script again to see if it can solve your problem.
Otherwise, please let me know, I will try to find out other reasons.

Hi mjw, you just need to delete the following folders from your DAZ Library folder:
\data\3feetwolf\New Genitalia For Victoria 7
\People\Genesis 3 Female\Anatomy\New Genitalia For Victoria 7
\Runtime\Textures\3feetwolf\NewGenitaliaForVictoria7

Hi 3feetwolf,

Fan of your previous work. Let me tell you that you're a legend. Good stuff.

I was hoping if you could help me with this issue. I've recently upgraded to daz 4.8 with v7 and got the new gens for g3f/v7. After loading G3f (base) or V7 and applying the gen, I get an error: "You need to install the update package for this UV(Base Female) or Victoria 7. Here's what I've done so far,
- uninstalled ALL packages
- uninstalled 4.8
- reinstalled 4.8
- reinstalled packages
- extracted the gens to my library.

Still no go. Log file indicates script executed successfully -->Script executed successfully: C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/3feetwolf/People/Genesis 3 Female/Anatomy/New Genitalia For Victoria 7/New Genitalia For Victoria 7.dsa

bTemplatesExist() is returning a false somewhere. Can't put my finger on it! Intrigued.

Can you please help?

Thanks in anticipation.

Jay

First, make sure that you've installed the "Default Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio 4.8" package.

Second, make sure that the texture paths for Base Female and Victoria 7 (and any updates) are present and correct.

Lastly, if this doesn't fix the problem, paste a copy of your error log so we can see exactly what's happening.

Edit: Taking a closer look at the code, the script isn't finding the texture directory for the Base Female or Victoria 7.

The script is looking for the texture folders under this path: /Runtime/Textures/3feetwolf/NewGenitaliaForVictoria7/

Thanks for replying.

1. Default Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio 4.8+ are already installed.
2.\3feetwolf\Runtime\Textures\3feetwolf\NewGenitaliaForVictoria7 directory exists with subfolders - BaseFemale, Eva7, Victoria7
3. Help > Troubleshooting > Log :
Loading script: C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/3feetwolf/People/Genesis 3 Female/Anatomy/New Genitalia For Victoria 7/New Genitalia For Victoria 7.dsa

Script executed successfully: C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/3feetwolf/People/Genesis 3 Female/Anatomy/New Genitalia For Victoria 7/New Genitalia For Victoria 7.dsa

Yet the same error.

I've managed to fix the issue. The problem was that I followed the installation instructions to word: extract to temp folder and copy it into the library. Consequently, the file associations weren't working and hence the 'return false'. In order to fix it, all I did was extract the compressed files (I use WinRAR) to My DAZ3D Library. And it worked. We have lift off (in no way am I referring to my own gen).

Wow just wow. He's put in a fair bit of work into this and by all means worth every cent.

Thanks by the way.

Peace!
