So the mat copy works fine for the skin around the dicktator, but what's the best way to get the shell to match the skin that isn't trial and error?  In this case, none of the mat presets match the color of my character (african american, so options are limited).  The S1_4_Smart mat is too yellow tinted, and the supplied Koo_Dikembe is too dark.  It's been a lot of trial and error and modifying mats and I've gotten something close but not exact.  I'm trying to match https://www.daz3d.com/koo-claude-hd-for-genesis-9.

What's the best way to do that?

Thanks.

Best option would be having a Dicktator with alternate UVs to accept Anatomical Elements maps, and more Daz PAs including AE maps.(Which looking at the product listed, the PA didn't bother to do maps for the AE anyway)

Second best option is Meipe doing a custom texture/shell for the specific character. (Though obviously this option is limited by Meipe's time as he can't feasibly create textures for every character released that doesn't get the best matching using one of the included shells, or shells from an expansion set)

Third option is using the base textures and templates, and building a custom dicktator map and/or shell to match the character (This one largely depends on your skills with photoshop and matching textures and seams)

Fourth option is of course the one you've done already, ie using what shells you have and the basic Material Copy preset to find a suitable match. Which isn't always easy or possible. If you don't already have it Pumping Pole Palette might help in finding a suitable shell as it has a few additional options for Dark Skin, but if not then one of the other three options might work better, but they're all more time/talent intensive.

-Enable IRAY preview in the viewport;

-Load the material preset closest to your character's tone;

-Select the Dicktator geoshell materials in the Surfaces tab;

-Slightly adjust the "Base color" tone and the "Translucency Weight" value. The higher the translucency, the darker the tone... so for Claude, I guess you have to lower the Dikembe translucency. If a tone is too yellow tinted, try to add a very light red tone to the "Base Color".
