I migrated recently from Windows 10 to 11, and after reinstalling the product, every time I try to generate new shape using Basic Shape Creator or persist new shape from using shaving tool i get following error "Failed to create new script!"

Okay, I'll look into the reason and get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi, I tested it on DS 4.21 to 4.24, and my operating system is also Windows 11. I don't seem to have encountered the problem you mentioned. However, my Daz Library folder is located on my D drive, so I'm guessing the problem might be that you installed it to the folder on your system drive, causing access to be denied when saving new presets?
If that's the case, please delete it from its original location and reinstall it to a folder on a non-system drive to see if that solves the problem.

"My DAZ 3D Library" is in fact installed on drive E. I checked permissions and every user should have full access.
"My Library" is installed on system drive though, not sure if that could make a difference?
Redownloaded and reinstalled it again just to be sure. Still same issue.
Some more information:
- Daz: 4.24.0.3 Premier
- Another odd thing I have noticed is if I try to use Shaving tool on hair I created before it throws an error "Failed to read hidden faces". Maybe I need to also copy the presets I made from old machine?
I can load and shave default presets just fine. Only cannot save as new ones due to the original error.
- Logs don't really give anything useful:
2025-11-30 08:34:21.776 [INFO] :: Loading script: E:/DAZ/My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis 8 Female/Anatomy/New Genitalia For Victoria 8/Pubic Hair/Pubic Hair Shaping Tool/Basic Shape Creator.dse
2025-11-30 08:34:48.720 [INFO] :: Script executed successfully: E:/DAZ/My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis 8 Female/Anatomy/New Genitalia For Victoria 8/Pubic Hair/Pubic Hair Shaping Tool/Basic Shape Creator.dse
- Also tried with disabled anti virus and no chnage

Thanks for the new information. It seems there was a problem with resolving the folder path. I wrote a test script, please copy it to: \People\Genesis 8 Female\Anatomy\New Genitalia For Victoria 8\Pubic Hair Then double-click to run it in DS. It will pop up the directory information for the "Customized Shapes" folder. Please send me the screenshot.

We have a breakthrough!
I executed the script and noticed it printed path to "Customized Shapes", but that directory did not exist.
I have made it manually, and now the script creates and saves the shape as expected. I have checked the zip with product and it did not contain directory either. Probably because it is empty. Not sure if some other script is meant to create it and that is failing?
The other error I will test later, but probably occurs because I am trying to edit a shape that is not saved in there, but exists on model i have in a subscene.

I'm glad you solved the problem. This folder should be in the installation package, but I don't have the installation package on hand right now, so I can't check it, lol.
