I recently splurged on the Logitech M575 trackball mouse. I configured it for Bluetooth, which seems to work seamlessly. The ball is more sensitive than I like, so I'll have to practice. But it seems a fine piece of technology, saving a lot of arm, wrist, and shoulder agony. Granted, this isn't a whole lot of "Wow,man, wow!," but my MS Wireless 3050 Desktop mouse was being difficult and I was getting annoyed. I might even change the keyboard on the next pay cheque.

Well, guess what! The Bluetooth connection went south almost immediately and could not be recovered. The cursor simply vanished. I had to install the "Logitech unifying receiver" and reset the cursor scheme to my original choice. Honestly, I find Microsoft mice give up the ghost within a year to eighteen months and Logitech mice invariably produce headaches almost immediately.

Has anyone a better experience? I would appreciate a suggestion or two.
