Not all is lost, as others have said, if the need to move on (only you can say if there even is a need) then like almost all of your stuff is still going to work.
I started with Daz, so poser was always like a mystery to me, especially considering that I also started when Aiko 8 came out, she was like my first real purchase and dive-in, which I think was either during March Madness or right before. Either way, Daz was a bit more generous in those days and I got a TON of stuff when I bought Aiko's pro bundle. I also bought a bunch of things I didn't know "weren't" supposed to be used in daz, because they were like "Get a billion of these for five dollars". And I did. So now I had a bunch of really nice, matching for generation stuff, and a waaayyy bigger pile of things that I wasn't supposed to use with the characters I had.
Saffron here stems from those first few weeks of my Daz journey. She is probably the character I worked the hardest on, not my best one, but I had NO idea what I was doing, and I wanted to make this work. And I did.
If you guys have been using Poser for longer than I've been using any and all 3D software, I have no doubt it will be a breeze.
Anyways, Saffron was in one of my like twelve free bundles, and the outfit was like $0.51 or something (rose colored glasses, but it was something crazy like that), and it's beautiful. Its name is Complicated Eve, but it's an outfit with guns and a sword? I dunno, seems like Poser stuff was made with backstories and depth and love. Not to say that things still aren't made that way, but I'm used to the hamster wheel at the Daz store, which I've WAYYYY backed off from. Be careful over there, they're preditors.

Anywho... here's a poser truck, a poser dog (Its name is literally Poser8Dog ....maybe not so much back story went into that one), and Saffron, a Genesis 3 character wearing a V4 outfit, all being rendered in iRay.
Not sure what all won't work, but I have a feeling a lot of it will.
