Why can't I load the material script on the genesis 8.1 model? The genitalia and the shell script work fine. Am I wrong or wasn't support implemented for it with the release of dicktator v3?

Look under the sub folders for the folder 8_GM 8_1
That folder is where the Mat Copy script and the Dicktator shell is for use with G8.1M

I'm sorry but I must be really dumb but I can't find the "8_GM 8_1" folder. It's neither in the "Genesis 8 Male" folder nor in the "Genesis 8.1 Male" folder.

Default install it should be under People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy/Dicktator v3/8_GM 8_1 (That may not be 100% correct, I'm trying to go for the path from memory as I don't have my content drive connected to this computer so I can't copy or check the path)
If it isn't showing up under the default Dicktator folders then it is likely you haven't downloaded the latest update that included the official updates to work with 8.1 Male based characters. So you would need to reset your downloads to get the most recent .zip and install it.

Where do I find the update? I have "People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy/Dicktator v3". It's just that inside "/Dicktator v3" I lack the "8_GM 8_1" folder.

Hmmm... now I have the same issue but I do have the latest updated file installed but can't seem to see an 8.1 in the directory. I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled just in case the pre-updated version was having the priority but I keep getting the same message for materials. I've attached the screen shots. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

If you switch to content library, it should be where I had previously mentioned at People/Genesis 8 Male/Anatomy/Dicktator v3/8_GM 8_1
I don't know where Daz Studio puts the files when using Smart Content, I don't use the Smart Content Tab, so someone else would have to help you there.

I checked and I have the same bug. It's strange as the content has been rightly "categorized" but the folder does not pop up in the smart content library, even after re-importing metadatas. Meipe attached the following image(s):
