Renderotica

Okay, I was once warned by moderators not to use copyrighted characters in my renders (Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, etc.)  Wordpress (where I post my fanfics)  tolerates tasteful nudity images but draws the line at images depicting sexual activity...

Fanfic means fan fiction, my stories either feature Mr. X characters (with his permission) or DC Comics characters (love the Wonderbat) and sometimes cross-overs between various universes. I add a disclaimer that looks something like this:

"The characters featured in this story are Copyrighted by ________, except for _______________ who are my original characters. This is pure fan fiction, and I receive no pay or other benefit from it."

Is that enough to be able to post DC based fanfics? 

The big problem here is that DC owns the rights on those characters which includes their usage. You need to realize that this website isn't casual fanfiction; its primary goal is to provide an outlet for sexual contents (as we all know). And as we also know this is a rather delicate subject (no pun intended), most people don't want to be associated with this stuff (hence the use of secrecy and aliases).

Considering the fact that the DC characters never get into any kind of sexual interaction or such at all it's reasonable to assume that if DC would take a look at that blog post of yours they'd pick it up as "defamation of character"; you're using their work for rather explicit contents and without permission of course. 

And considering the fact that Renderotica hosts all this stuff they will be the ones who get called out for it, or worse...

Yet that's only one part of the problem. The other part is the rights which they hold over it. Sure, fanfiction is usually allowed when shared on a non-commercial basis, but that's also not the case here. Renderotica is a commercial website with the sole intent to monetize on their contents. This also includes all the stuff us 'Rendoriticans' share (Renderotica users, I like my version better though ;))  Yah, and as soon as you're trying to monetize on copyrighted material without being licensed to do so you'll end up in a heap of legal trouble.

Which is basically why Renderotica can't go here, even if they wanted to.
