Could we get a dedicated support forum on products by Kaluma?

Have some questions on the gens & stranded hair products but the vendor's inbox is full.

You could try emailing him. Or is his actual email full?

Did not check. But wondered as there are support forums for a lot of vendors and kaluma has already quite a portfolio here.

Hi!

Yes, I think its a good idea. I will ask the renderotica team for a subfolder.
In the meantime you can ask your questions here, or send me an email.

Oh... I checked, my pm inbox was actually full, thanks for the reminder.

So if someone else send me a pm I didn't respond to, please send it again.

Thank you and have a nice weekend :)

It would be great if you could release a version of your strand based pubic hair for golden palace.

I don't want to do this without a permission of the vendor - maybe I can ask him some day.

Technically you can use the sb pubic hair with any genitalia - Just ignore the warnings and right-click on "FG-SBH" -> Fit to...  and choose the genitalia you've applied to your figure.
But you will have to do some manual adjustments in the strand based hair editor, because some hairs will poke through the anatomy.

Hi, I was having a problem with your Strand Based Pubic Hair that has left me completely baffled. Luckily, I managed to fix it - or at least find a workaround. I thought I'd left the description here, in case someone else encounter the same problem, or can enlighten me what caused it, coz I have no clue at the moment.

I used your Female Genitals and Strand Based Pubic Hair for Female Genitals products on my G8F figure. The genitals work fine, but all transform on G8F are multiplied by 2 on the pubic hair prop. I.e., if I move my G8F 100 units on z axis, the pubic hair ends up at z 200. And if I rotate G8F 45 degrees, the pubic hair rotates 90 degrees. The transforms for the Pubic Hair Cap itself doesn't change, they remain at 0.

I tried re-parenting it to G8F (base), G8F>hip, G8F>Female Genitalia, but the result was the same. Then I noticed that if I use the "Fix pose errors"-script that comes with the Pubic Hair - but don't re-parent it to my figure - it will work as intended and follow the figure (!) without the x2 transforms. The one downside is that the Density, Materials and Shapes can't be applied when it's no longer parented to G8F, but since I have no need to change them after creating the character, that's not a problem.

If anybody have an explanation or better solution, I'd be interested in learning it.

Cheers and happy rendering!
