There is no  substitute for files that are not in the right place. Take a look at the "read me" text file and it shows the complete path(s). Use those to check that the files are in the correct locations and try again

I made this tutorial for this reason. Have a look.

Never, ever, ever let zip, rar, 7z, or any other type of file 'auto install', because you'll get an 'auto shitshow' if you do. Install them manually, making sure that you use the correct path.

DAZ doesn't work off of full path names, it works off of relative paths. That's so you can set up multiple libraries. Everything is going to be relative to the base folder. Actually I separate out my non-DAZ purchases from stuff I get directly from DAZ so if I get something that is wonky, which happens, I can isolate where it is better. You have to know a bit about how the program operates to do that.

In any case, each of your libraries can have only one runtime folder and one data folder. and those have to be in the root of that library. I also find it is best to leave scripts in the default folder also. What sometimes happens when you install from a zip is that it will put everything in a subdirectory (My Library is a frequent offender). If that folder contains /data or /runtime folders, they need to be moved to the root of your library or the content will not work.

The other reason I don't use the default DAZ directory for all my content is I have too much stuff for it. My system drive, which is where all the programs go, is an 1 TB SSD. I have about 2.5 TB of content. That doesn't work.
They make clothes for V4? Why??

I have very good news... I was able to mak it all work...for me , ,I didn't understand about multiple runtimes. I got cup of coffee and sandwich and just started looking at every thing.. I didn't really have anything in (C:/my computer/ library/docs..)
I didn't have anything in (C:Programs/Daz..). Everything was in the (C:/me/public/doc.). After i figure out the that ,yes just like you said, don't let Zip install it, and if Install Manager was going to do it , Install Manager needed extra help.
SO...I moved every runtime I had to Just one Runtime...worked really good I found stuff I had never been able to find. Then I used WinRAR to (extract here) which was just in downloads folder and easy to clean up. I then took those extracted folder and moved them to the C:User/public/doc's... and "added" or merged to that one single runtime you come to as you navigate the directory tree...Haveing said all that i think I could do all of my 3rd party content in the same way and i would get it all organized and be able to use it...I cant Thank you enough...I have been playing around with Daz And Carrera for a long time , and never really did to much for a lack of knowledge. I eventually bough Light Wave and have some Progress .There are a lot of tuts for Light Wave. Thanks for this tremendous Help!
