So I have been trying to just use the udder for Cream Queen. I can hide all the faces in geometry editor and it looks great..... until i switch back to the Pointer Tool and eveything appears back! I have no idea how this is possible. I am hiding literally everything but the udder and somehow they appear back when i leave the Geometry Editor. I have the shell removed, so its not that. Even stranger, when i go back into the Geometry editor, everything but the udder disappears like it should. I don't understand whats happening here. If i hide the parts shouldn't they stay hidden? Do I have to save it or something?

Can someone try this and let me know if it's just me?

Hmmm, good idea, trying that now but when i select the faces in GE and click assign it does nothing. I created a "Hidden" group and selected it but it does nothing. The faces or surfaces just stayin in their groups. If i unassign the faces they go <default> but still the same result, i cant assign them to a new group. Am I missing something?

Ok. so I figured out how to get the faces into a new group but when i make the Cutout Opacity 0 I still get the black hole cut out of the model.

I will send pics when I get home tonight.

What about this though? I tried deleting the selected polygons with GE, and that works, but the udder and hip become unattached. If you can tell me how to reattach it to G8F then I can simple just delete all the breasts and just use the udder. The udder doesn't look that bad when you delete the parts either, it just has a seam showing on the hips. If we fix that and it will be perfect.

My guess is you would need to use breast gone morphs to get rid of the upper breasts. Getting rid of the geometry of the graft won't work because how Daz Studio handles grafts (Making the mesh under the graft disappear, and keeping the mesh invisible until the graft is deleted, so if you delete the graft areas with the breasts the underlying mesh is still kept invisible when you disable the geometry editor and the graft becomes reactivated.) Also it would likely need a morph set up at the G8F level to flatten the breasts as the morphs in the underlying figure carry over to the graft ( a huge reason I wish more vendors would keep Nipples and genital crease morphs as a separate morph from their characters FBMs) Also just wanting the udder, would probably require either special cow skin textures without upper nipples that the normal textures have, or a shell set up to mask/cover the upper nipples on the normal texture maps.

You can hack the graft geometry file in order to remove the auto-hiding feature of the graft... This way if you set some polys as transparent you don't get a hole.

1- Make a backup of and open \data\Meipex\CreamQueen\CreamQueen_G8F\CreamQueen_FIX5.VR_7161.dsf with notepad++
2- Search for "hidden_polys"
3- Delete the polys ref and save

Thank you for your help. This works. but I get the black streaks from the translucency. I am using Cutout Opacity on the CreamQueen Torso surfaces. Should I be doing something else?

Hey Miepe, just got the add-on and am having fun with it, but I've run into an irritating problem. I for the life of me cannot get the breast flattener morphs to work. Can't find them in the parameter setting under G8F actor or anything. Completely stumped. The tab doesn't have a node selector option. Did I screw up the install somehow or am I just blind? I am a bit new at this so maybe I'm just misunderstanding something.

do you not have the breast flatteners underneath Cream Queen-> 4-Shape Presets-> Breasts flatten?

You may have installed wrong. I never use the installers i just copy to my daz directory and say "yes" to overwriting the old files.

I have the options and I installed the add-on manually twice. Clicking on them just doesn't seem to do anything.

I forget which is which, but try clicking them with Gen 8 selected and also try with CreamQueen selected, not the shell.

Select G8F then apply the flattener. It doesn't seem to apply once you have morphed the breasts, as far as removing the middle breasts, it will only reduce the size a bit at best. What you would need to do is apply flattener, then rather than applying a breasts preset, which will add the middle breasts back, you will have to use the tit by tit CL breast morph dials under G8F, if you are wanting the middle breast gone, and you will have to use the same tit by tit nipple morphs dials under the Cream Queen graft.

Yes, but the flattener itself doesn't seem to be working. I've not morphed the breasts at all. Merely applied the cream queen graft, shell, and material. I got to the flattener panel, click on any of the buttons with G8F selected and nothing. A eyeblink of a dialogue box that's up and gone too quickly for me to read appears but besides that the model is uneffected. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, redownloaded, and uninstalled again. Everytime everything but the flattening tool works. I've installed clusterbomb too just in case I needed it as well. Don't think I can use the flattener on it though if I just wanted four breasts but no udder, but that's not this problem. Also according to the instructions PDF there are supposed to be flattening parameters under Genesis 8 Female/Actor/Chest/Cluster Bomb. None of those are there either.

At this point, I'm just irritated I can't figure out what's not working.

Odd, any chance you can check the log file to find out what the dialog box is saying? I know sometimes the pop ups copy to the log file and other times they just pop up and disappear. Though I'll admit when I was playing with it the other night I don't recall any boxes appearing, even after I had Natural 9 breast applied, and I pressed the preset and it didn't work because the breast morph had been applied. It just didn't apply the flatten preset to get rid of the center breasts, but no dialog box appeared.

It says it did the thing it didn't do.

This is getting frustrating. Can you remove breasts in clusterbomb? I couldn't find that function in it anywhere. I just thougth it was 6 breasts or normal.
