I have been trying to figure this out for a while, and keep getting mix results. (see Picture). When I apply a wet shell and a dirt shell the rest of the body looks fine but the Golden Palace Looks clean.

I tried selecting the torso in the shell surfaces and copy and paste them into the same shell GP surfaces but does not work. for example to be more clear. I would select the dirt shell, find the surfaces that relate to GP in the surface tab. Then copy the torso, then find the GP references in the same dirt shell and paste. Same process for wet shell.

Anyone have a solution on how to get my wet and dirt shells to cover GP?

Thanks

set the dirt or wet shell offset above the GP shell offset

I am not sure I completely follow, I moved the two shells above the golden palace shell_majora and golden palace shell and it sits right beneath the Golden Palace Gens and still looks the same. Maybe I am not understanding what you mean by offset, can you please explain a bit further.

You might try this:
1- load the character
2- load the wet shadFer
3- make sure your G8F is selected and then UPDATE the Palace's material with the option provided in the GP folder.

To change the offset, select the dirt shell, in the parameters tab there should be a mesh offset setting. Try adjusting that.

However it could also be an issue where the surfaces in the dirt shell material won't match with the Golden Palace surfaces, so it won't apply correctly even if the materials are manually copied and applied.

You probably would be better off by using a shader on your character that provides wetness and dirt. It would be simpler to use as opposed to multiple shells.

I have tried all the above and no luck that way, In the past I just post worked it by taking parts of the dirt and wetness and worked into the none affected areas just was trying to figure out a way to do in the render. Funny how sophisticated these 3d programs are but they still can not do things that can be done in photoshop with just a few mouse clicks

Just an update I did get the dirt shell to copy to GP, not sure why It did not work before most likely something I was doing wrong, but I just one by one copied the dirt torso surface to the GP in the dirt shell labeled GP  and it worked.

I have the exact same problem now.

I wish the OP knew what he did to resolve the problem! I'm using Aeon Soul's Skin Effects Dirt. Everything gets the dirt layer except the anatomical element.
