About a month ago, My Mom had a small stroke in her sleep, she woke up and didn't have a sense of balance.  It has gotten a lot better but she has to use a walker to get around now.  This past weekend, my Step-dad, had a massive stroke and was airflighted from our local hospital to the regional medical center an hour or so south of us.  Day before yesterday, (I've lost count of the days) we were told that he wouldn't get any better, he can't swallow or urinate, and was moved to hospice.  He is resting comfortable, but is only a matter of time, now.  Mom is staying at the hospital with him while stay at the condo and look after things here.  My projects that I was working on are of course on hold.

First of all.. wishing you all the best man, hang in there!!

Second... you should be able to, I admire your guts to be honest (now hinting at your profile picture). But yeah, there are some things which we can't control, best not to fret too much over it but instead.. get it out of your system (like you did here) and then... deal (sounds harsh... I'm a caretaker for my mom, dad passed some years ago...).

Stay strong, and also try to find strength in your hobbies, especially something like this (I'm serious!). Despite having an awesome and understanding girlfriend I can still loose myself a bit messing around with erotic 3D and it's ... fun. And the community is awesome IMO.
