This is usually fixed by applying the "Shell Fix" script to the Dicktator shell.

Ah, I've just realised, you're actually rendering using OpenGL. The shaders for these products are optimised for Iray. I should have seen that from your very first sample which looks fine.

Apart from speed, is there some reason why you want to use the OpenGL renderer? It's only really intended for showing the composition of a scene, not for final product.

Edit: I am wondering if there is also a limitation of the OpenGL renderer that prevents Geoshells from functioning.

OK, I understand. Unless things have changed, if you have an AMD card then Iray is going to be a pain; it's pretty much proprietary NVidia technology and you will have to use CPU rendering, which can be excruciatingly slow. I think, though, that you would see a massive quality improvement between pure OpenGL and Iray renders of the same scene - whether rendered by the card's GPU or the main CPU.

Dicktator is great. No question.

I don't need photorealistic images but do need to make a lot of scenes.

Anyway, I'm satisfied with Dicktator. So sexy and easy to use.
