Hi, I have asked this on the DAZ forum but it seems to be an unusal request  so I thought I'd come back to the source, as it were.


I want to have a Geograft (G3M Dicktator) in a scene without the host body. However, no matter what I try, the GeoShell loses its texture if I unparent and delete/hide the host body. I have tried making a MAT preset and tried copying surfaces but nothing has worked. There were suggestions about making the GeoGraft into a separate prop but that's no good to me because I want to retain its rigging and morphing features.


Any ideas?

set up your character with geograft and geoshell textures


Unparent the dicktator geograft and geoshell from genesis figure.


Add a new geoshell to the dicktator geograft via >create>new geometry shell. Add daz uber base shader to geometry shell


copy shaders from the original dicktator geograft geoshell to the new dicktator geograft geoshell.


delete host body.


you will then have just the geograft and the geoshell with textures.

thank to your guide peenwolf, I have managed to make it work!


But what if, there were 2 geo shell, one textures and the other the wet shell?


I could only make it work if it were only one shell :D
