If you ever tried to use Golden Palace with a mix of unsupported morphs, and then tried to pose the bones (for example with the "Storming the Palace" presets), you probably had a weird shape as a result. This is because the bones are out of place.
For this tutorial, we'll use Kraswerks Tegan FBM on G8F. Open the tool settings-Joint Editor tab. The bones are way too high.

Let's fix that. Right-Click in the scene->Edit->Adjust rigging to shape.
Unselect the bones as in the following figure. Accept.

Done! Bones are lowered and shape looks right again.
In the next GP update I'll add a script to do the job with one click, or fix the problem with rigidity maps. In the meantime the script can be downloaded in my patr***

Yes, at least to any character that doesn't have a premade fix that Meipe has released or one that you are having issues with. What it does is reorient the bones in the specific instance of GP to the specific character that you do the fix on.

You're the man! I tried several hours and just couldn't figure it out and was kinda sad not being able to use StormingTP to full extent as I am still a bloody noob with perhaps 40hrs in DazStudio.
Thanks a lot and thanks for the explaination, now it makes sense and the workaround is really quickly done!
Do us a favour and keep up your outstanding work!

I bought it today but the problem seems to persist. Is the script included (and I simply didn't find it) or still only available at p**teon? Edited by user Sunday, August 16, 2020 4:02:53 AM(UTC)

Damn! This problem has been plaguing me for months, years even and I didn't see this post until now! Oh well. Thanks for the info, Meipe. Knowing I can fix the distortions/bones placement will be of a huge help. "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."

This was a godsend. I always thought my Storming the Palace might be wrongly installed, before I found this.
I didn't want to start a new thread, but is there something like this for Dicktator too? Especially in smaller body sizes I either get the pubic mound (for lack of better word) folded in or bumping out. (Especially noticable when posing flaccid)
