Hi,

Thanks for the latest great addition to the Genesis add-on family.

Quick question though. In the Headlights Textures folder there are three png files with no corresponding duf or folder. These are Areola Diameter, Bumps and Edit Color. Should there be files/folders for these or are they surplus to requirements?

From what I read on the product page the Headlights files are a bonus that allows you to use the Headlights textures on the Breastacular grafts if you already own Headlights. If you don't own headlights then they are just additional files included with Breastacular that are unusable to you. Though I would really recommend getting Headlights if you don't already have it, as it is a very useful product.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I own Headlights, who shops here and doesn't own everything Meipe creates? :) ;)

Upon checking further it appears that the three png files do correspond to folders in the headlights product so I'm guessing they were included in the Breastacular product in error.

haruchai,

The inclusion fo the Headlights icons is intentional and allows you to use the headlights textures with Breastacular to use them on the Breastacular nipple morphs.  To use the Headlights textures and areola size morphs, use the following procedure.  First apply the Breastacular shell, then apply the shell apply the Headlights shell color you want to use (shell_color 1, 2, or 3), then double click on the headlights UVs you want to use to resize the headlights areolas.  If you use UVs 0 which is a very small areola, you can also shrink the areola size of the underlying base texture when you copied the materials when first applying Breastacular by going to the UVs folder and applying 1-Small Areolas.  Hope This Helps.

Maybe I am not explaining myself too well. You cannot click on the files I am referring to as they do not show in Studio as there is nothing associated with them to show/click (duf or folder). They are icons for folders that are in the Headlights product.

A picture may help. See attached. The icons are in the zip and copy to the Headlights folder in Breastacular but don't show in Studio.

Hmm by that it looks like the .png files were included in the final .zip but the .duf files required were left out. I would say to contact support so that they know the issue is there and can contact Meipe so that the .zip can be updated with the missing files.

I may be wrong but I think Meipe included some Headlights files with the intention of making Breastacular more useful and give it compatibility with the Headlights add-on, without completely giving away Headlights which is a separate product from Breastacular. It's likely that the thumbnails were simply included by mistake as the folders were copied. I don't believe the intention was to include the complete Headlights add-on with Breastacular.

Have you tried to follow my instructions?  The 3 different areola icons (Shell_Color 1, Shell_Color 2, & Shell_Color 3) link to the Headlights areola texture files that are found in the headlights texture folder located where you installed your "My DAZ 3D Library" in the Runtime\Textures\Meipex\M_Headlights folder.  I believe you have to have the Headlights product to use them.  If you have Headlights installed, you have to apply the Breastacular shell first, then manually select the Breastacular shell then apply the Headlights areola textures then use the UVs morphs.  The UVs .duf files are also located in your "My DAZ 3D Library" in the People\Genesis 8 Female\Anatomy\Breastacular\Headlights Textures folder.  Hope this helps.

Hi billyben,
Thank you for your responses. Yes, I know what is happening with the Headlights. My specific query relates to the three pngs as detailed above. As others have now mentioned and would appear to confirm that they are extraneous and part of the 'build' process. I understand that they probably would not be part of this package but wondered if there should be a duf or, more likely, a dsa linking to the Headlights folders to go with the icons. I'll just delete them and move on.

Most people won't even know they are there because they don't show in Studio but, as someone who has done a fair amount of beta testing product in the past, I always check the folder contents. I have an entire subfolder in my email program dedicated to ongoing technical queries with another store :)

Thanks for all the input.
