Hi, when applying GP on G8f and the copy textures script, it turns Legacy UVs for G8F's geografts white/untextured, even if all maps are still in place in the surface tab for all its geografts, like if we couldn't use GP and any other geograft together (GP breaking the other one). Anyone else had the same issue ? Is there a known fix  ??

Select Shell(s) in scene run Shell Fix script, (Meipe includes one with all his products so you should have it or the omni fix script if not both) it's as easy as that, if that doesn't work go to the shell look under parameters and turn off all surfaces not tied to the shell ie all surfaces not tied to Golden palace.

The cause is anytime a new graft is loaded or a shell is applied all the figure and graft surfaces are added to the shell, by default most shells have the common surfaces all turned off, but as grafts might not be included in the common surfaces to turn off, and there is no surface information for those graft surfaces, the shell defaults to white on the shell surfaces that are added. But usually selecting the shell and running a shell fix script will turn off the extra surfaces that were added to the shell.

Thank you for the help, i tried but with no results tho. Applying the script cause a slight color change on the all-white legacy UVs, but they still remain more or less white. Tried several times on all shells i could just to check, nothing worked.

Anyway i didn't see yesterday but GP doesn't seem to be made to work at all with legacy UVs, the front part is properly textured, but the "back" part, if i can say, is not, has same maps than all the rest in surface tab but looks totally different in both preview/render... Rip for using GP with legacy UVs it seems, to me. Will try my luck, with another one.

Aye, the fix I mentioned just fixes the shells issue. With legacy UVs you are also changing the UVs of the figure, so GP won't work right as it is made to work with Default Female UVs.

There was a product for the various UVs to work on Golden Palace for Genesis 3, but to my knowledge if UVs are different with G8F/G8.1F it just won't work. I'm sorry it didn't even cross my mind on the UVs part when you asked the question. I just went into graft/shell fix mode.

No problem and thank you again ;) . I made a quick test with new gen for V8, with normal method (didn't have 10mn to use it's new method from expansion that process maps with command line), and it works flawessly, just like the Daz genitalia. So NGV8 : 1 / GP : 0 here, haha.
