As most of you have probably heard, Germany was divided into 2 countries after WWII
West Germany, which was supported by the Allies in reconstruction, and East Germany, which was under the control of the Soviet Union.
In the middle of our present capital Berlin, there was a 156 kilometer long wall made of concrete, with barbed wire and guards that prevented people from crossing this border without having a permit.
This wall divided not only the city, but also ways of thinking, political systems and families and to cross it without a permit was prevented by firing order.
On November 9, 1989, this wall was opened and on October 3, 1990 our country was officially healed and reunited.
Therefore, October 3 is the highest holiday of the year for most of us Germans.
To celebrate this most important day there will be a 30% discount on everything, including bundles in my store, the week of October 3, 2022.
(So from Monday 2 October until Sunday 8 October.)
