This is what I am working off of. I am using method one.
I copied the package archive and I am looking for where I need to copy them. Is the Documents folder in the installer or in Daz?

O.K., thanks for the clarification.
There are two basic ways of downloading from Renderotica. Once you've completed a purchase, go to the upper right corner of the screen to where it says ACCOUNT, and it will bring up a tab with several options, two of which will be ORDER HISTORY and DOWNLOADS.
The first method is through ORDER HISTORY, which is a listing of all of your orders, listed by order #, date/time, price, etc. At the far right of the order under the headings INVOICE and DOWNLOADS you will see the word VIEW, which will show you files for just the order you selected. The second method is through DOWNLOADS, which is a listing of the files for every item you've ever purchased
At a bare minimum, you just want to download the content files (the .ZIP files and possibly the .DSX files) for each piece of content you've purchased. I would recommend creating a folder on your hard-drive (something like C:\3D\DOWNLOADS) where you would download them. I don't recommend downloading them directly into the DAZ Studio directory -- I like having them in a separate location where I can examine them and organize them before I place them into my saved content library and then into the DAZ install library.
Inside my download directory, I create a new folder for each item I've purchased, with the vendor's name and the name of the item. I download the .ZIP fils for this item into this folder, as well as a .PDF copy of the invoice and copies of all of the promo images. Maybe it's just me, but I can usually only download one .ZIP at a time from Renderotica, so a big order may take a while to download, as I wait for each .ZIP to finish before starting on the next one.
Once your files are downloaded, you'll want to check each to make sure that they're complete -- sometimes a download doesn't complete, and an archive can be damaged. I'd rather know that now so that I can download it again right away.
If you extract one of your .ZIP files, it will create a new folder with all of the extracted folders and files, one of which is usually a folder named DOCUMENTS or DOCUMENTATION, where you should find any manuals (usually in .PDF format) or at the very least some sort of README file. These are usually the same files you see listed with the .ZIP and .DSX files when you're downloading, which is why I said earlier that you really don't need to worry about downloading them, because they're already included.
I also don't recommend copying your content files directly into the DAZ Studio directory. I create a separate folder (something like C:\3D\CONTENT LIBRARY) and then cut-and-paste the extracted folders for each piece of downloaded content (folders like DATA, PEOPLE, RUNTIME, etc.) into this new directory. I like to keep my DAZ Studio installation(s) and my content libraries separate. Inside of DAZ Studio, I can always point it to a library I want to include, or remove one if I should need to. Cut-and-past all of the extracted folders for your content into your library.
Once you've done this, you'll need to tell DAZ Studio how to find the content you just installed. Open up DAZ Studio, and go to the CONTENT LIBRARY tab. You should see a directory structure (DAZ STUDIO FORMATS, POSER FORMATS, OTHER IMPORT FORMATS, PRODUCTS, CATEGORIES) in the upper left corner of the tab's window. Right-click on the DAZ STUDIO FORMATS option, and choose ADD A BASE DIRECTORY. This will open up a window so that you can navigate to the folder you installed your content into (in the example I gave, C:\3D\CONTENT LIBRARY). Left-click on this folder, and at the bottom right of the window, click on SELECT FOLDER. Your library folder is now added, and DAZ Studio can see and use the content inside of it.
Each time you add new content into this folder, you'll need to do one of two things before you can use it. The first is to simply close DAZ Studio and then open it again. When it opens, your new content should show up. The second option is to do a scan for new content, which you also do from the CONTENT LIBRARY tab. Directly above the words CONTENT LIBRARY, you should see a box made of stacked horizontal lines, which will open up a context-sensitive menu, the options of which will change depending upon which tab is currently active.Left-click on it, and choose SCAN KNOWN DIRECTORIES FOR FILES. I deselect (or un-check) all of the options before hitting ACCEPT. I just want DAZ Studio to find the files -- I don't want it doing anything else with them. It may take a minute or two while scanning, but once it's done, your new content should be visible.
That's basically it. Hope it helps.
