Problem with Lickalicious materials [Solved]

Hi, I have just installed Lickalicious and had some problems.  I followed the PDF guide...  loaded a clean G8F figure, applied Lickalicious full setup, then Mat Copy, then went and applied Material choice.  All fine when I used poses the tongues appeared with decent color. So at that stage, Lickalicious was fine.


BUT... after I had applied other materials like skin, makeup etc to the G8F, the tongues then appeared very pale pink almost to the point of white.  I tried the shell fixes and re-copying and re-applying the mats but the tongues stayed white.  


I tried it all in reverse - so I loaded a clean G8F, applied skin, make-up etc, and THEN loaded and setup Lickalicious but the white tongue problem was still there.  BTW my render is standard iray.


Any advice and pointers gratefully received.  I'm OK with Daz basics but the more detailed aspects of color/tranparency etc are a little beyond me, so simple instructions appreciated.

Thanks for the prompt reply and the suggestion. My pc is busy doing other stuff right now. I'll try that tomorrow.

Hi OK, I tested this again one step at a time, and I found the issue that was affecting me. It happened when I loaded the Golden Palace genitals - in particular at the step when I loaded the Golden Palace shell. As soon as that happened the tongue went white. It was quickly fixable by applying the Golden Palace shell fix and the tongue returned to the color I set in Lickalicious. I didn't spot it earlier because I would not normally have the tongue sticking out when I am just setting up basics of character, skin tones, morphs, makeup etc. And the Golden Palace shell fix is not normally needed for basic toon setup. But now I know to use it whenever the two products are used together.

So all is well and the issue is understood. You can delete or archive this post if appropriate, thanks!

Any time I've added an additional shell for anything like the breastacular, golden palace, blush, etc , i always find one of the shell fix icons and check them against all of the added shells. Seems to alwasy clear up any of the coloration problems for a particular shell collision.  Never had a problem once i realized to just click the shell fixes.
