It doesn't have anything to do with Renderotica. Our payment rules haven't changed but some credit card issuers have changed what they authorize payments for. If the credit card you are using, which used to work, suddenly doesn't work, it's likely because of something your bank has put in place. Plus, because we deal with people around the globe, there are different rules in different countries that can affect your ability to make purchases. RangerRabbit Renderotica Management

Sorry, but I have to disagree with this statement. I ran into this exact same problem a couple of months ago, and it had nothing to do with anything my bank did. In fact, they didn't do anything at all. The only changes made were by your payment processor when they implemented the new rules, which caused the card I'd been using for several months on your site to suddenly stop working. Talking to my bank confirmed that all of my account information was correct and unchanged -- the problem lies with your processor.

The details of the issue you had should not be discussed in a public forum so I will not be making any comments to reveal anything other than the fact that our processors have been continuing to process thousands of transactions for customers with credit cards who have not been affected by any changes we made back in August when you had your issue. If you still feel your issue needs to be discussed further, I'd be happy to take it offline and you can contact me directly by PM. RangerRabbit Renderotica Management

The point I was making was directly related to the original poster's issue, and was intended to show that they're not the only one to be affected by this. Also felt it was relevant to point out that things went sideways only after your processor changed their rules -- blaming it on those customers banks instead seems rather curious if not actually dishonest. And Renderotica has already given me what little assistance they were willing to provide me on this issue, and I had no interest in continuing to beat this particular dead horse, but thank you -- if you had anything actually uuseful to add to it, I'd be willing to listen.
