Will the gen texture wizard work if i have a custom color on my G8F? or is it just default G8F colors it will work with?

There is a wide set of character presets included, so there may be something close to your character tone. You may load the closer preset, then fine-tune it , editing the graft shell materials diffuse color and translucency value (increase its value for a darker color and vice-versa).
