Continuing in the Frivolous Fantasy alternate reality, The Tryst is set in January, 1942 during the height of the Second World War.

 

We are again in the occupied city of Angeles, in the Philippines. The Japanese have taken Manila, and the Apmericans are holding out on the Bataan Peninsula.

Imperial Japanese Army Air Service (IJAAS) Pilot Major Takhiro Kashiida continues to recover in the field hospital, but he is paralyzed in his legs. He has also been rendered impotent by the bullet-wound in his spine; he is unable to achieve an erection. But one fateful night, he is again visited by the wraith-like woman that had the wounds of crucifixion etched onto her wrists and her feet...

 

In the same field hosptial, Sergeant Taichiro and Nurse Umeko indulge themselves in each other.
