The old man watched the boys building the huts in the high branches. He could almost remember when he was young enough for such daring feats. His rheumy eyes followed the antics with a wistful smile. The heat was bad today.  He even remembered when it was easy to go to ground. Not that he did that anymore. It was too dangerous. He couldn't move fast enough to avoid predators. Today he would watch the boys dancing with ropes and remember when he did the same.
