Description
The Tail - for V4 and Poser™
The Tail is a conforming figure, made to fit DAZ™'s Victoria4.
It consists from 34 bodyparts and was a pain to rig...
All controls for the Tail sit in the CONTROL BOX, which hovers above the Tail. Select that to get access to the "easy posing" wheelies.
Of course, the "ControlBox" does not render. The Box also has it's own "Minimize" morph to downsize it, if it stands in the way.
The figure contains a set of "easy posing" wheels and The Tail is able to read the original material settings which are applied go V4. This blends the surface of the Tail nicely with the master V4 , giving the whole thing a pretty organic touch. This works following the good old MIMO principle - mess in, mess out. If the texture image maps of V4 have mistakes or irregularities, they will show in the Tails surface as well.
Applying the V4 mat settings is easy - please refer to the ReadMe file in the download section, or, if you prefer your instructions with images (like me), download the Tutorial PDF in the "Download" section of this description.
Of V4's morphs
~ PBM WaistWidth, PBM GluteSize, FBM GluteRaise_L and GluteRaise_R
~ FBM Thin, FBM Bulk, FBM Amazon and FBM Voluptuous
are supported (via CrossTalk), but
due to the significant differences between the Tails and V4s topology, some technical limitations take place:
~ excessive use of the Position Adjustments for the entire figure *WILL* collide with the Movement morphs
~ the crosstalking morph for FBM Thin works in a range between 0 and 1.5
~ the crosstalking morph for FBM Bulk works in a range between -0.25 and 1.5
~ the crosstalking morph for FBM Amazon works in a range between 0 and 1.5
~ the crosstalking morph for FBM Voluptuous works in a range between -0.25 and 1.2
"Full Fit" effects are only reached with the transparency map applied
~ Reading a carrier material DOES ONLY WORK FOR V4
Also included:
- three rubber materials
- Material switches between Transparency and Non-Transparency - because you may experience difficulties when you try to precisely pose the tail in higher Poser versions with any transparency applied (that's not my figure that causes this, that's a Poser transparency issue). So it's a good idea to do the posing work without any transparencies.
And, last not least:
- 7 easy posing wheelies for a nice smooth movement mix
(WhipSide, WhipUpDown, RollSide, RollUpDown, CurveSie, CurveUpDown and Screw)
- and shape morphs for "Worm" "Dragon" and "TipBulk" are build in.
