Labworks 1 "CONFINED LAB" expands the Labworks 1 packages with this enclosed, circular lab room with a smaller enclosed chamber for confinement, lab tools and more.

SPECIAL NOTE 1: Posing for G8/9 figures is based on the STANDARD, NON-MORPHED OR ALTERED figures. If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. If you do have to alter the poses, you can do this to one side of the device and one side of your character then use the symmetry command to mirror the result to the other side.

System Requirements for Daz Studio:
- PC and Mac compatible
- Requires Daz Studio 4+ (created using Daz Studio 4.2)
- All files in .duf, .ds*, .png and .jpg format.

Figure descriptions:

Confined Lab Assem: Large, circular lab room with posable door on one wall with pre-parented corridor module and corridor cap. All walls, ceiling and light module can be moved out of view for good camera and viewing angles.
There are 3 pre-parented wall machinery/piping props on 3 of the walls, these can be removed if desired.
The Confined lab is large enough to house the included Chamber set and also large enough to house the Labworks 1 "Adult Expansion" chamber as well. (Adult Expansion set is sold separately)

Corridor Cap: This caps the end of the corridor.

Corridor Module: This fits in the shape of the doors for the lab room. You can stack several end to end to make it longer, or cap it. All walls and ceiling can be moved out of view for good camera shots.

Room Equipment descriptions:

Chair: Basic lab chair with high back. The seat swivels and back can recline. (basic pose for G8M and G8F included). The G8 poses have the hands in an active "typing" position, you might have to bend arms a bit for perfect fits.

Console Set: This is a re-arrangable console set with center, left and right control pads, buttons and switches. You can move things around to better suit you. There is a central, non-rendering, wire-frame displayed sphere just below the central pad that can be used to move all the items around. All the items in the console set also come as stand alones that can be used anywhere. You can use several console sets on the workstation table.

Chamber: This is an adjustable height chamber with upper and lower platforms that can move up and down, a glass shield that can move up and down and 4 lighted columns on the sides that can be moved out of view. This chamber fits in the middle of the confined lab and can hold different characters and figures of various sizes.

Chamber Pod: This is a posable "life" pod that can fit G8F and G8M (pose files included). The lid can be removed, the nozzles can be adjusted. Parent the G8 character to the pods "bed" body part prior to applying poses.

Pod Mount: This is a base platform with adjustable stem and mounting pad for the Chamber Pod. There is a pre-assembled version of the mount and chamber pod in the assembies folder.

Lamp and Tool Holder: This is a posable lamp with 4 armatures and lamp heads. There is also a central column that can move up and down. 3 of the larger lights on the central column can be moved out of the way and have the tool arms placed in them.

Stool: Small, posable stool. (basic pose for G8M and G8F included)

Workstation Table 1: This is an adjustable height table with a transparent central screen that can be moved up and down. The screen is emmissive lit to glow in a dimly lit scene. You can move the screen out of view if prefered. There is a non-rendering sphere (that shows as a wireframe in poser) that is the base or parent bodypart the table is attached to. This sphere will move the table around the room, but also acts as a center point for adding more tables together to form a circle. 4 tables in a circle will just fit around the Chamber without protruding into the chamber.

Xtra Consoles 1 - 8: These are stand alone modules from the Console Set. Some of these items have moving parts. Place these anywhere.

Wall Prop: This is a set of piping elements that fit around the Lab room. This prop is already parented to the Confined Lab Assem figure in the root folder.

Assemblies folder:

Chamber Assembly: This is a pre-parented set of the chamber, chamber pod, pod mount and lamp/tool holder plus some tool armatures.

Lab Chamber Assembly: This a the confined lab, corridor modules, workstation tables and chamber assembly already pre-parented.

Pod Mount Assembly: This is a pre-parented pod mount and pod attached to it.

Table 1 Assembly: This is table one with a pre-parented console sets and chairs.

Tool Armature folder:

Tool Arm: This is a flexible tool arm with easypose bending built into the segments. At the end of arm is a posable armature which has a tool head attachment. There are smart prop tools in the props library that will fit into the tool head. There are 3 tool arms in the "chamber assembly" already pre-parented.

There are smart prop tools for the tool arm figure in the props library:

Helmet (for G8F or G8M): This is a face covering device with 4 hose/wires. The wires all terminate in the same spot and are intended to fit into the "tool face plate conn" prop, which attaches to the tool holder. There is a stand alone helmet and G8 Helmets which are wearable presets. You may have to adjust position or scale of helmet to account for hair.

Tool Helmet Connect: this fits into the tool head figure. It has a couple bending morphs. You should adjust the tool holder and Helmet conn to attach to the ends of the wires on the helmets for G8F or G8M.

Tool Laser: A laser head attachement with beam length morph.

Tool Syringe: A syringe attachement with plunger/fluid morph.

Tool Tweezers: A set of tweezers with open-close morph.

Pose Folders

PLEASE NOTE: There is an information _Readme in the folder that has some general info about using the poses and pre-parenting requirements. There is also a link to a tutorial in this folder that has GENERIC step by step instructions on how to parent your character and apply poses to both the device and your character..
Please view the tutorial if you are novice or not familiar with progressional poses.
Why do I have multi-step posing? By parenting your character to a part of the device (in any of my products), you can make minor adjustments to the device and your character will move with it. If you made custom texture or material changes to the device, these will carry through to the next pose.
