The Frivolous Fantasies line of comics continue with NextLevel's most recent installment "The Serial Killer from the Second World War." 

 

Dovetailing off of the previous comic, The Violinist's Crux Dream, this story is a prequel set in 1941. The scene is set in the American protectorate of the Philippines just after the outbreak of war on 7 December, 1941. The Japanese advance rapidly through the island chain, pushing the Americans to retreat. The Japanese have taken countless civilian prisoners along the way.

 

Enter Imperial Japanese Army Air Force (IJAAF) pilot Major Takahiro Kashiida. A formidible man with the highest pedigree dating back to old feudal Japan. He is a seasoned pilot with years of combat experience. And though he was the pride of the Empire of Japan, he was also a serial killer. He was a man of very dark sexual proclivities and his victims were always the unfortunate outlets of his pent up sexual frustration and wickedness.

 

This story explores the dark and insidious story of this mysterious serial killer from the second world war.
