No E-mail Updates

Lately when I've been uploading images, I'm NOT receiving e-mails about comments. As in the past, I always check the box "Receive Email Update"...but I'm not receiving any. I also think that notifications of Private Messages are also not being received.

I got nowhere with Roadrunner Calbe internet so I now have my comments and any Rotica notices go to m free Hotmail account. Have not missed one since.

I checked with my provider, nothing being blocked, filtered or blacklisted by them (or by me), are you sure its not something on this site that may have changed in the last month or two?
I have been away for a while, and before I left, everything was working fine???

I'm getting everything now except the newsletter. Haven't gotten that for a couple of months at least.

Yes, I'm also not getting newsletters anymore (I did in the past), but I'm also not sure IF, and WHEN, any where sent? PM's and Comments are much easier tell when your not receiving them.

I got the latest newsletter yesterday, and I've been getting all my gallery and PM notices too.

Have you double checked your User Control Panel settings to make sure nothing has changed? My profile is actually haunted, and sometimes things change randomly with no rhyme or reason :grin:.

I know the e-mail account I use allows me to "add contacts" by entering their e-mail address to assure that mail from them will never be filtered out as unsolicited or spam. If your e-mail account has this feature, try adding <newsletter@renderotica.com> for the newsletter and <diane@renderotica.com> for gallery and message notifications.

You probably already know all this, but...well... there it is:).

Naw I'm not even getting product approval/rejection notifications (pain in the ass today in particular).

For reference, the host that seems to be blocked is mail.dtgstudios.com - it tricked me a bit that Diane uses comcast's mail server but has the sender ID set to diane@renderotica.com and some of those emails come across with a renderotica.com message-ID, but they really aren't touching the renderotica mail server. The last time I got a mail from Renderotica that came through mail.dtgstudios.com was on the 11th.

edit: I checked that all my addresses are correct (they hadn't been changed and both the Renderotica provider/store page and the main web page email addresses are correct). My ISP says that they need a copy of the bounce message(s) that the Renderotica mail server is getting when sending mail to me at my regular email address. Personally I think this is bullshit and that my ISP tier 1 support doesn't want to come out and say that they don't manage the mail service (which they don't) but these are the hoops they're asking me to jump through.

So, can I please have a copy of the bounce message(s) that the Renderotica mail server is getting when sending mail to me? Thanks.

Finally I think I got the point across, at least I got a nice person on the phone this time instead of the insolent little motherfucker I got earlier (wanted to punch that guy). I'm still fighting with the SENDING problem, it seems they put some rule in place that prevents me from sending an email that has some combination of jpeg/text file attachments :bduh:
