Change Profile Page Format

I've noticed that Max size allowed for a user profile pic is 640x640, and I made a nice multi-image collage just under these dimensions and uploaded it as a new profile pic....But when I went back to my page I saw that part of the image along with my username was hidden beneath the statistics and images and other little windows on the right size of the screen.

I found how to rearrange the little windows and the content within them, but I could not find a way to move everything down so that my profile pic and username were fully visible. Am I missing something, or is this not possible?

Alas, I just went back to the smaller profile pic and gave up on the whole venture.

Don't think there is a way to move those things. I probably should figure out what the optimum image dimensions are.

Am I just tripping, or did someone do something about this? Suddenly I go to my profile page and find all that stuff that was in the way on the right side of the page has moved to the bottom of the page... I tried and tried to get it to move there when I originally posted this thread, now it seems to have migrated there on it's own....

Whoever is responsible for this, THANK YOU!

Just FYI....

I figured something out.... Changing profile gallery settings to display a row of five thumbnails across the top of the page widens the page enough to do what I wanted. Now there's room for my username and a larger profile image, while leaving satistics on the right side of the page but still out of the way.

(I know, I hear someone in the background saying "enough already!")

I finally settled on my profile page format just being what it was going to be.. after all, it's not going to win me any prizes, it's just a page, right? But now that I finally came up with a new profile image that I'm happy with, and which allows my whole 12 letter user name to be displayed without disappearing behind opposing windows, I re-visit my profile page and find that all those little windows I can't move on my own are now back at the bottom of the page!

Don't get me wrong... I'm no longer obsessing over this issue, I could now give a rats ass where those little windows are:icon_smile:. It's just that they keep moving now by themselves. I won't ask if I'm tripping or if I'm crazy.... we already know the answer to that. But I will ask: Is this a glitch in the site software, or is someone in the Administration playing a joke on me by moving these windows from time to time?:scratch:

The windows are on the side for me. It might be your browser playing tricks on you. We aren't doing anything.

My profile went to default by itself 2 times some months ago. It never happened again tho’. Dunno if I touched something without noticing.

I think there are a lot of options to place things so your user name looks complete even with a full profile image without stretching the layout with the thumbs.
I am pretty sure half my user name was hidden by my profile image before I rearranged the page. Don’t remember that well to be honest.

Anyway, I love it how yours looks like now! I prefer this new image. :)
