Hi Meipe,I just bought your G9 dicktator,I use it for my G9 female character,in first step "dicktator_smart" is normally runs, but in second step "meterial copy" got a error, it just said:Error in script execution: L:/daz_mod/People/Genesis 9/Anatomy/Dicktator/2-Dicktator_Material Copy.dse

Can you help to fix it?thanks!

If I'm reading that correctly it is all working until it is getting to copying the material/uvs which to me points to possibility that either the character you're using is either using a vendor's custom uvs, or a custom Shader that the script isn't recognizing so it isn't applying/copying from the character's materials. My guess is if you try using a different character's textures it will likely work fine. (iSource for one is well know for using their own uvs or shaders and material copy scripts not working properly with their products)

thanks for your replying but sadly I try to load a genesis9 defaut people,it still got the same error

Im doubt that my genesis9 files got some wrong when I install it

Might try to re-download in case you got a bad copy of Dicktator.

 

All I can say is that I haven't had any issues with the script working.

 

maybe I should think about re-install my genesis9 product.but I worried about if software will delete all my genesis9 product once I unstall it.

An unistallation of Genesis 9 Starter Essentials will only remove what Genesis 9 Starter Essentials installed. You may end up with a newer version as there was a Genesis 9 update recently (about a month back) but I have the updated version of G9 and it is still working without issue on my end.

How should I unstaill and re-intsall it?just do it in DIM?

DIM is probably the easiest method. Just to Installed list scroll to the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials, and there should be an uninstall option (you might have to right click the product, or click on a three dots thing for the uninstall option to appear) after you uninstall just go to ready to download tab, look for Genesis 9 Starter Essentials and install. (You might have to close and reopen DIM before it shows in ready to download)


Other method if manually installed is going through and deleting everything, or simply installing Genesis 9 Starter Essentials, and ticking to overwrite files if manually installing.

Unfortunately still can't do metarial copy after reinstalling, I guess just have to ask for meipa to help me out.

For some reason, the UVs are messing the script.

Here is a version of the script that does not copy the UVs. Just check after running the script the UVs on the Dicktator graft are set to "default UVs" (in the Surfaces tab)

Oh thank you! it works! I thought my genesis9 pack was broken!
