Can 60507 XY-HDM textures be used on Realistic Dildo 1 2 or 3?

As the topic says, Just curious if this is possible ?


I have dicktator and it's great for bodies so I opted for Realistic Dildo 3 for a scene with a Vibe and it would be nice to get some "HDM" definition on the RD3.


Asking if I get HDM can it be applied to the RD series or its strickly UV-ed for XY Genitalia. Even with minimal moving of maps/textures.

Using your surfaces tool, click on the RD3. Look in the surfaces pane to see the look (and path) of the texture applied. Compare that to the texture of the Dictator geogaft. If they are not identical, you need to make new texture maps that conform to the UV template for that respective mesh with a graphics program like photoshop

Hi,

HDM products are made for specific UV map so no it can't be used on RD3. It would be difficult to doctor them also.

I have to say that Realistic dildo 3 is a high poly figure with very detailed maps so it is not needed. If you want to make it look like a real penis you don't need new maps you can just tweak material settings.
It was made to look like silicon but you can make it look like skin.

Yes RD3 is really nice, was just wondering if HDM could be used on it as well.


@davo: please dont jinx it, I dont want to think back to G8/G8.1 "benefits", eventually caved when they started releasing 8.1 specific items - would be great if 9.1 is a free upgrade, but knowing Daz...

Nah, looking at typical releases Genesis 10 (or X if they go for edgy) should be next, but for whatever reasons Daz kept Genesis 8 going longer than any other Genesis generation, and decided to an incremental update with 8 rather than releasing 9 for whatever reasons.


 


Then they've also been keeping Daz Studio 4 going longer than its predecessors. I think first few versions were on a 2 year Version update schedule, and Daz Studio 4 has been around nearly 12 years now.
