Hi,
Apologies if I'm missing the obvious here.
I am attempting to use a syringe from 'Doctor's Tools' by DubTH.
The item looks fine, but if I add a coloured liquid (via the correct materials folder) only a small amount is placed in the syringe. Moving the plunger results in a darker grey area below the plunger, but not the colour of the liquid. No amount of my messing with the surfaces appears to work. Does anyone have any experience of using this product that can assist me?
Thank you
Christine.

Hi Chrissy,
It helps if you can post a picture so the members can help diagnose the issue. And remember you can always reach out to the vendor directly via the email included in the README file (only in the product zip)

I have this prop, so I set it up and pulled the plunger back. Then I looked at the surfaces pane and chose the fluid in the editor tab. If you click on the Glossy Color and choose a color, the fluid changes color from the needle up to the plunger. This is what you are trying to achieve, correct? Hi Zeppelin,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, that's what I'm trying to achieve.
However, for some reason, your solution doesn't work for me.
All I get is the liquid still at the base of the barrel as if the plunger were fully in.
Forgot to mention I'm using Daz.
Christine.

I'm using Daz as well, I did this on a Mac version 4.16. Are you pulling the plunger back first before choosing and coloring the liquid?

Yes, Zeppelin, I was - as per your instruction above!
However, for some strange reason, it's started working properly when I reloaded the prop.
Another Daz mystery. I don't think I'll ever understand what's going on.
Thank you for your help sir.

Hi,
Thanks for the (possible) bug report. I'm glad you could solve the problem.
The product is quite old, I will check if it is some incompatibility with newer Daz3D versions or just a Daz bug.
In case of further problems, I'm usually more responsive if you sent me an email, as I do not visit the forum often.
