Where Does Presets/Material Folder Go? - File Installation

I am trying to properly install the Olympia Starter Kit so that I can install a set of shoes I purchased. I say "properly" because I initially was able to use the starter heels, but without any colors or textures. I would really like everything to work properly so I decided to reinstall the accessory kit.


All of the folders follow the DAZ folder system with the exception of one labelled "Presets". The only folder with a similar name is "Render Presets", which has a subfolder for Iray. The Rumen Presets folder is structured like this: Materials/ Decor/ and then a list of folders:  Heel, Inner Color, etc.


Without installing this Presets folder I get a file path error: Not Found Data/rumend/ hho100f05...  for two files. Does this mean the file would go in the Data folder somewhere?

If product is properly installed, "Presets" must be seen here - "...My Library/". If not, that means the installation is wrong.

What to do to get properly installed product? - First of all, follow instructions included in ReadME file.


1. Unzip  archive to "C:\Users\*YOUR_USERNAME*\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio". (Replace *YOUR_USERNAME* with your username on the PC) - What this means?


Copy and Paste ZIP file here : ...Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio

Right click on Zip file, and choice "Extract here".

2. Refresh "My Library" on Content Library Pane.


To do this, select "My Library" on Content Library pane. Right click and choice "Refresh"

NOTE : "ZIP FILE" means product file, which you downloaded from internet.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! I really appreciate the extra time you spent to send me more detailed instructions- they answered my questions and now I'm enjoying using this nicely designed product.


 


This is an example of great product support. I will definitely purchase more of their items, and recommend them as well!
