I select G8F character and run the the texture creator. That part works and I see the 6 new files in the proper location. But when I apply the genitals from the expansion folder, the G8F texture goes wacko. I can delete the genitals and the G8F texture remains screwed up.

I had something similar on first usage, but then I downloaded and re-installed the base NGV8 product again, followed by re-install of the expansion. After that, it has allworked so fars as texture application goes, so I'd suggest you do that and see what happens.
I did have other issues, but will purse that in a separate thread ... ;)

Yeah. I had to physically delete all files and from my People/Genesis 8 Female, runtime folder and textures that were linked to NGV8 and then re-install them via the latest NGV8 and expansion. now it all works.
