I came late into this conversation, and actually let AI pass me by until I had to start dealing with it in marking student exams, and now having to write "AI proof" exam questions ".....using the data you collected in practical 3 and on the fieldclass......."
So I started looking at images and certainly some are amazing, and there are great instructions on loading and using the main engines, but I didn't want to do anything that clogged my already clogged computer any more, and to be honest I glazed over at the instructions.
So I went the plebs route and look at what was available online and free. I tried several systems. Some I could not get a decent photoreal image (maybe they are largely for manga etc- this does nothing for me), others had a couple of free images and then no more, and a couple would only register through Google- I don't want this communicating with my main email system thank you.
These should all be free, easy and online.
So, I may have missed some good ones but for anyone wanting a quick try without commitment:
The best overall, but irritating to use, is
https://www.unstability.ai. It has 52 free images/day but many will be off centre and no use so if you get 5 good ones out of 52 you are doing well. Great photoreal images and it will do some level of NSFW (nudity). It can be annoying to use because so many images are hardly in frame, or it ignores your prompts, but get it right and the results are excellent. Has a nasty habit of adding an extra leg or arm.
The best starting one I found was
https://perchance.org/ai-character-generatorThis is the only one I found that is utterly free with no limit to number of images, and is easy to use, and does NSFW images (including penetrations, but telling it to do that is not easy) but the images are small at 512 px in the smaller dimension (I upsized mine on a free online upsizer). Also the skin detail is pretty poor compared to others and it is terrible with hands (too many fingers in most images). If you put in prompts like "skin detail with pores, skin blemishes, fine wrinkles" you can get a better result. Has a nasty habit of adding an extra leg or arm, gives 6 or more fingers and (you may like this) often gives three or four boobs.
Give it a go.
The best images I got were Nightcafe
https://creator.nightcafe.studio/ but they are all glamour type shots
The only consistently good photo images are using the SDXL 0.9 system, and that is 3 credits a go, and you only get 5 credits a day. In does not do NSFW commands but occasionally a nipple may turn up in the render.
I am not sure if Firefly
https://firefly.adobe.com/inspire/imagesis free or not as I have an Adobe account. The images are hard to tell from photos BUT it has a stupidly restrictive term use and even bans the use of types of lingerie as terms. Also, all the images I did of people other than portraits have a weirdly twisted neck. People are 'average looking' even if you request "supermodel" - great for realism; useless for glamour.
Have a play.
