I'm still trying to fit very old Dendras and Kawecki rope props, from the posette-to-Victoria 4 era to the Gen 8 female.

And yes, I know I'm boring everybody here with my passion for ropes ...without any technical "knotledge".

Each time it's a miserable failure :

1) T-pose G8 with a freebie script found somewhere on the internet, load props, painstakingly put them in place, more or less modifying XYZ sizes and rotation for fitting.

2) Triangulate object,

3) Then add smoothing modifier with G8 collision,

4)Parent to requested body part (L and R shin, L and R forearm bend (???))

5) Save the whole scene.

When I reopen the scene, I have a bunch of coiled rope on the floor...blink

As far as I remember, there was in  Poser a "place" where to reset the origin of the prop to zero before smart parenting it : is there such a thing in Daz Studio and where am I supposed to find it ?

Anybody could give me hints on what I'm doing wrong ?

Thank you
