Attaboy! The eyes are the windows to the world. It's good to know that your problems can be addressed. I have eye problems too and expect to have an operation for cataracts in the coming months. A little scary, but I'm trying to be optimistic. My doctor tells me that I may then need glasses only for reading. I hope he's right.

Good to hear Your last OP went well (i only read about it now) and all teh best for the second one

I got through something similar (but less intense) last autumn - and i well understand the sorrows. For a graphic artist the eyes are even more important (while of course they are vital for any human) I was not very comfortable fearing it could change the way i see.

It did not :-) -- only i do not need any glasses (or contact lenses which i had used) any more. I guess You need a good surgeon with proper machines - but it is amazing what is possible nowadays.
In my case also other minor problems were corrected and i now can see better than i ever could in my life. Very interesting as i did not know that some things can be seen - if i had done this earlier i maybe would have been more exact in the past ;-)

and @contedesfees - depending on what it is exactly You doctor can be right :-)

I am glad to hear things are 'looking' up. Keep fighting the evils of age!

Congratulations, you're half-way there! I had cataract surgery a few years ago and was able to dump the glasses I wore ever since 5th grade (I still need reading glasses for computer work, etc.).
