Not intended for redistribution. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's cold in here, the flesh is rigid and anything can happen, usually not good. This new enviroment and restraints package is a perfect addition to the Facility product line from Davo. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System Requirements: - PC and Mac compatible - Requires Poser 8+ - DazStudio version is available (sold separately) with material/surface zone adjustments and poses for the Genesis 8 figures - All files in .obj, .cr2, .png and .jpg format. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your poser.exe file. For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 or c:/program files/Smith Micro/Poser 8 You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external runtime location. Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The figure files will be extracted to the Figures/Character library: Davo / Facility 5: Contains the Cold room and restraint devices subfolder: /Pre-assembled: contains some pre-assembled Cold room options. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The props files will be extracted to the Props library: Davo / Basic Iron Cuffs: contains smart prop wrist, ankle and neck cuffs for V4/M4 (Genesis male and female in DS version) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pose files will be extracted to the Pose library: Davo / Facility 5 / This folder contains subfolders for: (poses for restraints and matching poses for V4) /Cold Room /Dolly /Station 1 /Station 2 /Yoke Post 1 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Figure Library Descriptions: Cold Room: This is the interior environmental setting. It's got a cool floor-lighted recessed pathway from front to back with raised flooring on the right and left. The front and back walls have doors that slide up (morph to hide the top of the doors so they won't interfere with the AC fans above them if you raise the doors) and spinning fans on the AC units. There are right and left side ventilation ducts that can be moved out of view. The room also has 3 ceiling lights (ambient lit materials so they will glow in a dimly lit scene) on each side. Also included as part of the room is a generic pipe with valve and a generic lever controller near the rear wall. The walls have metal wall panels that are hidden by default. There is a pose file in the Cold Room pose library that will show or hide the panels. The floor body part has some morphs to show/hide the gutters on the raised floor. By default, the gutters are shown. If you want to hide them, you can use the "Gutters Show" morph and raise the rFloorcov and lFloorcov back into position. There are Hide/Show gutters poses in the Cold Room pose library, however, if you use the Master 1 morph on the floor, you should apply the gutters poses first as using the gutter poses after will restor the floor to it's original length. The floor has a "Master 1" morph dial that will lenghten the entire room front to back. If you use this morph, you must also move the Pipe and Lever into new positions. All elements of the room can be moved out of view or hidden for good camera angles and viewing. If you wish, you could drop the front wall or rear wall and add another room to the scene so you have a long corridor like setting. Lamp: This is a stand alone lamp figure that you can add to your scene to light things up. It's got ambient lit material zones so the bulbs will glow in a dimly lit scene. This lamp will look nice the Stall. Stall: This is a stand alone figure that you can add to the scene. The 'base' of the stall is a non-rendering sphere. You can use this move the stall around to your desired position. Both walls can move side to side and have height/depth morphs. The curtain rod has a width morph, the curtain also has some size/shape morphs. If you add a stall, you must move it up to the Stall Sets: There is a right and left side set of stalls in single stall or set of 3 stalls already parented and positioned to fit the default room. The center stalls "base" body part will move the set of 3 stalls together. Dolly: This is a restraint dolly for carting your favorite characters around. The dolly has morph adjustable hand and foot cuff bars, repositionable handle and a repositionable neck cuff ring. The wheels can turn. Pose files are provided for V4 and matching poses for the Dolly. Parent V4 to the dollys "base" body part before applying any poses. Station 1: This is a uniquely styled 'gyno' exam table style restraint. It's got fully posable and articulated armatures, a poseable back rest, front sing and rear tray. The sink and tray can be moved out of view if you wish. This figure is fully symmetrical mirroring so if you do custom poses, you can just pose one half of the station and the same half of your character then mirror the results to the other side. Most parts have size/shaping morphs for fine tuning adjustments. Pose files are provided for V4 and matching poses for the Station. Parent V4 to the stations "seat" body part before applying any poses. Note: Use the basic iron cuffs in conjunction with these poses. Station 2: An industrial styled restraint that can be used for inspection, display or other diabolical purposes. This station has 4 posable chains and poseable chain mounts, a height adjustable head with ambient lit light, a control panel, tray to "catch things" and an assortment of 'tools' that can be used to torment or tease your favorite characters. It's tools include a posable dildo with size/shape morphs, a crotch wedge, a sybian style vibrating pad and a spike pad. Most items have size/shape morphs for fine tuning. Pose files to hide the tray and various poses to hide each tool are provided. Pose files are provided for V4 and matching poses for the Station. Parent V4 to the stations "head" body part before applying any poses. Note: Use the basic iron cuffs in conjunction with these poses. Yoke 1: This is a display restraint you can use to show off your characters. It's got stainless steel arm and leg restraint bars and a repositionable reader board display screen. The yoke is fully posable and has size/shape morphs for fine tuning. Material Pose files to change the reader display are also provided. You can use a paint program to do your own display graphics if you wish. Pose files are provided for V4 and matching poses for the Yoke. Parent V4 to the yokes "post" body part before applying any poses. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pre-assembled folder: Cold Room 2 Stalls and Cold Room 6 Stalls: These are a pre-assembled Cold Room figure with either 2 or 6 stalls already pre-parented. Cold Room Double: This is 2 Cold Rooms stacked end to end for a longer scene. Stall Single and Stall Sets: These are pre-assembled and pre positioned stalls sets of 3 or single stall for left and right side of room. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props Libraries: Cuffs Library: (same cuffs are available for Genesis male and female in the DazStudio Version) These libraries contain smart prop cuffs to use in conjunction with the most of Davo's packages. These smart props will automatically position and parent to your characters. To apply the cuffs, click on your character in your preview window, then click to add each cuff, they will position automatically. Link props can be used to provide a link for using the cuffs like hand cuffs with a link the middle. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pose Libraries: Note: Poses will get your default character "close" to positioning, you may have to make some minor adjustments if your character is heavily morphed or scaled. Parent your V4 character to the piece of equipment noted in the information png file in the pose libraries. After she is parented, you can apply the poses to both the equipment and V4. Pre-parenting V4 allows you to place you equipment somewhere in your scene other than the default import location without having the pose take it back to the center of the scene. Dolly, Station 1, Station 2 and Yoke 1 folders contain poses for V4 and matching poses for the restraining device. Cold Room folder contains a poses to show or hide the raised floor gutters and a pose to show or hide the hidden metal wall panels. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES ABOUT RAYTRACING AND GAMMA CORRECTION: Raytrace properties have been built into the material zones on these figures. In order to take advantage of raytracing in Poser, you will have to 'enable' raytracing in the render properties settings. I suggest a minimum of 2 raytrace bounces. More bounces will slow down rendering times. ***NOTES ABOUT RENDERING/GAMA CORRECTION IN POSER PRO 2012 AND HIGHER VERSIONS*** This packages textures and material zones were assigned in Poser 8.
