Thank you for purchasing the Dreadworks III "Re-Education Facility" Module from CGbytes.com The Re-Education Facility is a companion product to the other Dreadworks III modules This package is originally built in and for Poser 5 and above. If you wish to use the package in Daz Studio, you will have to adjust the material zone properties for ambient lit material zones and possibly for reflection map material zones. The Re-Educator is comprised of 2 parts, the Educator module and the Plex module (the facility room). Once installed the figures will be placed in the Figures library under the categories :< /p> D3 Educator Grey (grey representing the texture theme, more to follow) D3 Plex Grey (grey representing the texture theme, more to follow) A Pose Library is also included in the Pose Library category :< p> The D3 Educator is a machine unit that uses physical pain input and visual stimulation input to re-educate the mind. Whether you are using this normal people to enhance their minds or using this on criminals is up to the user. The Educator is a made of up pre-parented and placed figures. This allows you use the parts individually on other things or as a collective to form the educator. Description of Library components : Assem 1 M3 Setup: This is a fully assembled Re-Educator unit that is fitted and positioned for Michael 3. All the elements are parented to the EDnull figure which is located (and obstructed from view) by the ovular base of the chair. If you find and move the EDnull figure, all the parts will move with the null figure. To most easily assemble a scene with this unit, leave the EDnull figure in its default location, import your Michael 3 character, then from the Pose library, click on the M3 Character pose icon. Michael should now be in a seated position. You might have to do some minor adjustments to the chair cuffs and head unit to make a perfect fit if your M3 character is heavily morphed or wearing clothing. Parent your M3 Character to the chair. You can now move the EDnull figure to a new position in your overall scene. Assem 2 V3 Setup and Assem 3 V4 Setup: Use all the descriptions above, except substitute V3 and V4 for the M3 Character. Chair Trolley: This is a low profile trolley that you can parent the chair to. By default, the D3 chair is parented to the Trolley. D3 Chair: This is fully articulated and posable chair with movable arm, leg, cuff and head units. The chair is set up to allow pose mirroring from one side to the other. This will make your posing go more quickly. Simply pose half your poser character and the same half of the chair, and then mirror the pose for each using the Figure/Symmetry command. The head gripper is the only part of the chair that does not mirror. If you wish to only use the chair instead of the whole re-education setup, there is a matching set of poses for the M3, V3 and V4 and corresponding chair poses in the D3 Educator pose library. Click on your character, apply pose, click on the chair, apply pose. You may need to make minor adjustments to your character (and chair) if it is heavily morphed. EDnull Figure: This is a non-rendering, diamond shaped figure. If you want to set up a complex scene by parenting a lot of figures together, parent all of them to the EDnull figure. This allows you to move each figure individually, but still have them parented as a whole. Generator: This is a large energy generating machine. The ambient lit node/tubes on the top/sides can be rotated to a new position. Head Unit: This is a posable and articulated head cap and visual aid unit. The head cap has posable arms and injectors. The visual aid bar has a visual aid unit. There is a head unit already pre-parented to the Stand Unit Assembly figure. Hyper Probe: This is a probe unit with sharp syringe/probe at the tip. The unit has a sliding probe arm fixed to a base. There is a pre-assembled probe unit already parented to the Stand Unit Assem and also parented to the Side Arm Assembly. Stand Unit: The stand unit is the base for the head unit and hyper probes. This is a stand alone unit and also a pre assembled Stand Unit Assem that has the head unit and hyper probes already attached. The stand unit is fully posable and you can adjust the length/height of the bars. Stand Unit Assem: This is a pre-assembled Stand unit with head unit and hyper probe units attached. Side Arm Unit: This is a base with 2 posable/adjustable arms that you can attach the hyper probes to. Side Arm Assem: This is a pre-parented side arm unit with the hyper probes already attached. Shield 1: This is a cool looking shielding unit that fits around the Re-Educator assembly. You can choose to turn the pipes on the sides on or off or use the window shields instead by turning them on and off. Stack several Shield units together to form a long chain. Shield 2: This is a simple stand alone shield wall. Stack them end to end to form a long barrier. Runner: This is a raised platform that you can attach a re-education assembly to. The platform can run along the rails it sits on. You can adjust the length of the rail with the scaling dials and move the rail end caps forward and back to accommodate the rail length you choose. This is a cool figure to attach a re-education unit to, and then slide the unit back into the shields.
