The Shooting Range 03/02/11 by Richabri (Rick Bridenbaker) =============================================================================== Thank you for purchasing the Shooting Range package! All of this product's content was created by Richabri. =============================================================================== Description: =============================================================================== The Shooting Range is a set of eleven props that replicates a five position (channel)firearms shooting range. The set features a modular construction with separate ceiling, frontwall, main door and target (trolley) props. The target trolleys move forward and back with a normal Z-Trans. The Frontwall prop comes with faux window and doors for its interior and is used to close off the set if desired. The main door swings open from its hinge area with a normal Y-Rotate. Use only the set elements that make sense for your render. The Shooting Range set also comes with eye-protecting goggles, noise-suppressing headphones and 9MM handgun props that are smart-propped to a V4 character. These same props can be used with any Poser characters however with some repositioning and/or scaling. Seven camera presets are included to move you easily through the set and two shooting poses (for M4/V4) are provided to get you started on setting up your scene. The handgun is not smart-propped so you will have to position it to your character after setting the pose. The Shooting Range set also includes a PZ3 file that will load in the room with all of the furniture props and a default lighting scheme. Raytracing is enabled in the PZ3 file so the partition will display reflections if your renderer supports them. You will need Poser 5 (or higher) or Daz Studio to use this set. =============================================================================== The Shooting Range package includes the following props: Props (PP2): ========================= !!SR-Preload !SR-Base !SR-Ceiling !SR-Door !SR-Frontwall SR-Clock SR-Goggles SR-Handgun SR-Noise_Sup SR-Target1 SR-Target2 =============================================================================== Everything comes as poses and props that can be loaded from the content palette under the Pose and Props sections. The Shooting Range package also comes with all of the texture templates to allow you to give the props a custom look of your own design. ============================================================================= Notes: ============================================================================= POSING: ========= It is recommended that you switch off the leg IKs for your character before using these poses. Also, it is recommended that 'Use Limits' be turned off as well to ensure proper positioning of the character. After applying the pose you may need to tweak the character and/or clothing depending on character morphs etc. LIGHTING: ========= This lighting scheme uses four lights and the (Main) light is a spot light that is configured to point at the Chaise lounge and the other three are infinite lights providing fill and ambient lighting. I recommend pointing the spot light at your character by selecting the Main light and choosing Object -> Point At ... from the dropdown menu. Now as you move the spot light anywhere in the studio it will continue to point at your character. The lighting preset was provided to give a general illumination of this set. It should be adequate for most scenes but I highly recommend adjusting it for any specific scenes you may create if you choose to use it. You must have Raytracing enabled in your renderer to get reflections on the partition mirrors. ====================================================== INSTALLATION: ====================================================== Unzip the archive (ShootRange.zip) to the root folder wherever you installed Poser: (i.e., C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 8). Some adjustments may be necessary to account for different body morphs.
