                   Product Requirements and Compatibility

Programs Required: Tested on Daz Studio 4.15+
Models Required: Genesis 8.1 Male, Genesis 8.1 Female

All expressions poses were created using base Genesis 8.1 assets and further tested on various character morphs. However not all face morphs will react the same and some minor adjustment may be necessary for extreme face morphs.

                            ABOUT THE SET
======================================================================

Genesis 8.1 introduced several amazing new features for the face rig that give more lifelike results than ever! Enhanced powerpose integration and corrective morphs now attached to the bones, allow for more extreme expressions while staying WITHIN LIMITS, no more broken face bones! Expressions are smoother, skin no longer crickles and breaks, and expressions look even better on morphed characters, even extreme character morphs!

In keeping with our design philosophy of giving you more control, our expressions are still presented in upper and lower partials that allow you to mix and match to get the perfect expression every time! We've also added full face presets for each expression for faster application.

Our new toolkit (not all tools are included in this teaser) is similar to the previous G3 and G8 kits, but adds several new features. Eye angle adjustments now have 2 versions, full eye angle pose, or a stackable angle pose that adjusts eye angle and eyeLID angle only without removing the "emotion" in the eye pose.

Zeroes include upper, lower and middle. Newly added are Bone Enhance Removers for upper, lower or full face, to make the expressions more subtle.

Expressions are presented divided by a Masculine folder and Feminine folder, however all of our expressions are designed to apply to EITHER figure to give you even MORE options!

With all of these partials and tools, these expressions can become THOUSANDS of possibilities!

                            KNOWN ISSUES
======================================================================

BE AWARE: With the release of Genesis 8.1, the choice of poses and expressions got a little confusing. BODY poses designed for Genesis 8 work fine on Genesis 8.1, however the massive changes to the 8.1 face means that Genesis 8 facial expressions and Genesis 8.1 expressions are NOT interchangable. These expressions were designed on G8.1 and will ONLY work on G8.1. While there are workarounds to make G8 expressions work on G8.1, expressions BUILT on G8.1 work and look WAY better. Check out this free teaser and we are sure you'll agree! :)

All expressions were built from the ground up on Genesis 8.1, no converters or scripts were used. "Feminine" expressions were built on G8.1F and "Masculine" expressions were built on G8.1M, however these expressions are interchangable and usable on either male or female.

Certain characters, (example: Girl 8, Sakura 8) may have very extreme reshaping of the eyes which can cause the eyelids to not close evenly, and/or overlap. This is NOT a result of the pose presets or bone enhance. This uneven closing can be observed when just using the base "blink" (the new term for "eyes closed") dial and is a result of the character morph. If you encounter this, we built the expression presets so that you can manually adjust "blink" and "squint" to open the eyes enough to remove any overlap, however uneven closing sometimes cannot be avoided on these figures. If you're comfortable with the POWERPOSE tab in Studio, uneven eyelid closes can be adjusted and removed there by adjusting the eyelid bones.

In the Utilities folder, please note there are now 2 ways to change eye angle. We have made full eye presets (example 2_Eyes Left Low) and also new "stackable" presets (example 7_Stackable Eyes Left Half) which can be used to adjust ONLY the eyeball angle and the eyeLID angle. These new Stackable eye angle tools attempt to direct the eyes without changing the emotion or "pose" of the eyes. Experimentation to get a feel for the results of these 2 tools is recommended.

Our new 8.1 expressions use the power of powerpose and bone based corrective morphing native to Genesis 8.1, to give MUCH more lifelike expressions that ever before. 3 tools were designed to show off the difference that bone enhanceing can make (000 Zero Bone Enhance and the upper/lower versions) however these tools can also be used to make an expression more subtle. Experimentation is recommended.

While no digital figures were harmed during the production of these expressions, we do not recommend attempting some of these expressions at home (your eyes might get stuck that way!)
