Thank you for puchasing the V4 rope and band "TIGHT KIT". To extract the contents of this zip file, use a zip extraction program such as winzip. -Make sure the "use folder names" option is checked. -Extract to the location of your poser*.exe file For example, if you have Curious Lab's Poser 5, you would extract the files to: C:/program files/curious labs/Poser 5 -Do not include the folder "runtime" in your extraction path, this is already included in the zip files path location Once installed the library content will be installed to the following folders: Props Library: V4 TIGHT KIT Pose Library: V4 TIGHT KIT All the rope ties and band ties in this package are smart props, meaning they will snap onto your V4 character automatically in the correct location and automatically be parented. The only acception with the props are the coil loops props and belt buckle prop. These are not smart props. These must be inserted, scaled, rotated, morphed and parented to a body part manually. There is a 2 part system to using the rope and band ties: Part 1 - The main props in the V4 Tight Kit are the magnets. One of the library magnet icons will install all the arm and leg magnets at once. The neck, abdoment, hip and shin to thigh magnets are installed each separately. The magnets are used to "depress" the skin where the rope and band ties will be placed, this gives the look and feel of the ropes and bands "biting" the skin. Install the magnets for the ties you want to use. Consider how you want to tie up your character, where do you want the ties? Once you have that figured out, install the magnets you will use. Arm magnets: There are 3 per arm Leg Magnets: There are 3 per leg Crotch/Hip Magnet Abdomen Magnet Neck Magnet Shin to Thigh tie magnets: There are 2 of these, one for each leg. The main props in the V4 Tight Kit are the magnets. One of the library magnet icons will install all the arm and leg magnets at once. The neck, abdoment, hip and shin to thigh magnets are installed each separately. Once you have the magnets installed, "MEMORIZE" your figure with the figures/memorize/figure pull down menu command. You should do this to memorize the magnets "depressions". Make sure your figure does not have an expression on her face when memorizing or it will be memorized. Part 2 - Once you have the magnets installed and your figure memorized, you can install the ropes or bands. There are 2 sub-folders in the "V4 Tight Kit" props library, one is called Ropes, the other is called Bands. Choose which style you want to use. Each rope or band tie is installed individually, simply click the icon and add it to your scene, it will snap to your figure automatically. If you want to add a coil loop or belt buckle prop, simply click the icon, the coil loop/buckle will show up between your characters feet. Move the item to the desired location, size, morph, rotate and parent it to the body. I would suggest if you put the item on any of the arm bands, you should parent it to the chest, if you put the item on a leg band, parent it to the hip. The coil loops and belt buckle props have some morphs for adding some indentations or bending for looks, try them out. Once you have your figure all trussed up, you can pose her to a desired look. There are some starter poses in the pose library: V4 TIGHT KIT. These poses are based on the unmorphed V4.2++ figure, these poses will get you close, you may have to do some additional tweaking of your pose. You can simply some poses that are symetrical by using the figure/symmetry/mirror command in the Figure pull down menu to mirror your figures pose from one side to the other. Posing your figure will cause some of the ropes and bands to look a little crooked, you can teak the rotation and xyz scale of each rope or band to get a good look. Adjustments WILL have to be made. The crotch rope and thong props are also smart props, they have some adjustment morphs to pull out the back of the hip areas in cases of extreme bending. Check the morphs on each. Have fun!
