Thank you for puchasing The Pulp Noir interior setting "The Dungeon Set 12" CHAIN GANG - II package from Davo ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requires Poser 5+. Has not been tested in DazStudio, but should work in DS with minor adjustments DazStudio will encounter problems with pre-assembled items, which this kit includes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked) to the location of your poser.exe file. For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The files will be extracted to: Figures/Characters library: Pulp Noir / The Dungeon 12 / (chains, pillars, pedestals, stocks and pre-assemblies for M4 and V4) Pose library: Pulp Noir / The Dungeon 12 / for M4 and For V4 subfolders: (Poses for your character and matching poses for the stocks and pre-assemblies.) Props library: Pulp Noir / The Dungeon 12 / (smart prop chain-cuffs for wrists, ankles and neck) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Dungeon Set 12 figures are described below.. Null Base 1: This is a non-rending diamond shaped object that is displayed in Poser as a wireframe. If you wish to create pre-assemblies, this figure would be a good base to parent things to so you can move them all around at once. Chains A - E: These are posable chains, each link can be rotated, tilted, twisted. There are 2 versions of each chain, a single chain and a double chain. The double chains have a non-rendering sphere located between the 2 upper links. You can move this sphere to move both chains at the same time. The double chains have symmetrical mirroring ability for faster/easier posing. some of the items in the package require the use of the chain sets, the pose files will tell you which chain (A-D) and whether to use a singe or double chain. Mount 1 and 2 - Multi: These are set of mounts with adjustable rings that you can attach chains to. There are 4 left and 4 right mounts that are symmetrical mirroring. There is a non-rendering sphere in the center of the figure that you can use to move all the cuffs around at once with. Mount 1 and 2 - Single: This is a singe chain mount with posable ring. Pedestal 1: This is a flat, circlular pedestal that you can use to pose and display your characters on. Pedestal 2: This a semi-domed, circular pedestal that you use to pose and display yoru characters on. It has 2 morphs: one to flattten it and one that adds a bulge to the top that can be used as an alter. Pillars 1 - 3: These are upright pillars that can be used to chain your characters to. Pillar 1 is used in one of the pre-assemblies. For M4 and V4 subfolders: These folders contain pre-assembled and posed chains, pillars, pedestals and stocks. All the figures are parented to a Null Base that can be used to move your entire assembly around. All you need to do is import the pre-assembly, import your character, then apply the matching pose for your character from the Pose library. You can parent your character to the Null Base and move the entire assembly to a desired location. By default, the pedestal on the first 3 assemblies is moved so the top of it is at floor level. You can move it up if you wish. There is a Neck Stock, Arm Stocks and Feet Stocks in the subfolders. These are scaled/fit for M4 and V4. There is a pose for the arms and feet in the pose library that will position the hands/arms and feet to match the default position of the stocks. You can adjust the locations to better fit your custom characters. Parent the neck stock to the neck and the arm stocks probably should be parented to the chest. The feet stocks will probably need to be parented to the hip. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props: The props folder contains smart prop wrist, ankle and neck chain cuffs. These will automatically insert and parent to your character. The cuffs have 1 or 2 morphs to make the cuffs appear to be open or closed. These cuffs are used in conjunction with some of the pre-assemblies in this package. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a companion product to the Pulp Noir: Dungeon Sets 1 - 11 which are also available at renderotica.com in the Davo store.
