For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 or c:/program files/Smith Micro/Poser 8 You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external runtime location. Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Figure files will be extracted to the Figures/Character library: Davo / Chamber 4 / Electro Pack: This folder contains the electro pack figures and a subfolder / Assemblies: Containts pre-assembled electro pack figures for convenience ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The props files will be extracted to the Props library: Davo / Basic Scifi Cuffs / This folder contains subfolders: V4: Smart prop wrist, ankle and neck cuff for V4 M4: Smart prop wrist, ankle and neck cuff for M4 Davo / Chamber 4 / Electro Pack: Contains the hand held prods and smart propped prods ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pose files will be extracted to the Pose library: Davo / Chamber 4 / Electro Pack: This folder contains subfolders: Material Poses: Contains color changing material poses for the electrip cords Nipple Clamps: Contains breast morph poses and default positioning poses for the nipple clamps Restraint 2: Contains Restraint 2 poses and matching poses for V4 Restraint 2 Combo: Contains Restraint 2 poses and matching poses for V4 and the pre-parented shock pad Tongue Clamp: Contains tongue clamp positioning pose and default V4 face pose -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Hand pose files will be extracted to the Hands library: Davo / Chamber 4 / Electro Pack: Contains the hand poses used in conjunction with the smart prop prod props for V4 and M4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Figure Library Descriptions: CABLE AND CORDS SCENE SETUP/RENDERING SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE READ: Wiring, hoses and cables can be problematic in 3d rendering and animation programs. They are often difficult to position and pose as well as taking up a lot of memory. For this reason, with the exception of a few of the figures, I have not included built-in cables. Instead, I have provided stand-alone long and short easypose cables/cords that you can attach to your equipment as needed. There is an included subfolder called "Assemblies" that have the stand alone figures pre-parented with cords. Alternatively, you may choose to add cables/cords into your final render by post-work drawing them. This can be achieved by creating a layer in your paint program for each color cord, brush stroking it in, then if your paint program has a feature such as "extrude" or "embosss", you can add some highlight to one side of the cable making it appear as if it's 3d. If you choose to use the 3d cables in poser/DazStudio, I would use the pre-assembled figures, pose the cables to have the end of the cable be hidden by a body part or piece of equipment and do the same on the quipment cables that the cable is supposed to plug into. This eliminates the need to try to aim the cables perfectly into the equipment. Battery Box: This is a battery with built in electro shock equipment. It's control panel on the front has a posable dial, toggle switch and meter needle. There are 2 battery posts on the top and also on the front of the battery box. The front of the box also has a set of jack plug-in receptacles that you can plug any of the supplied long/short cords included in the package. There is a pre-assembled battery box with cables already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. There are 2 battery cables that can be repositione to the front of the box if desired. Both battery cables have easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. Cord Base Double: This is a dual cord attachment that can be added to the dildo/plugs figures. Both cables have easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. There are pre-assembled dildo/plugs with this cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Cord Base Single: This is a single cord attachment that can be added to the dildo/plugs figures. The cable has easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. There are pre-assembled dildo/plugs with this cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Cord Long and Cord Short: This is a single cord attachment that can be added to the any of the equipment such as the Electro Boxes and Battery Box. The cable has easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc on the Short Cord and every 25 segments, for example *001, *025, *050 etc on the Long Cord. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. There are pre-assembled equipment with these cables already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Dildo 1: This is a highly requested see-through dildo with shock rings and visible interior cables used for shock 'therapy'. You must manually position it as you see fit. The dildo has some size/shape adjustment morphs. The cable has easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. Dildo 2: This is a simple dildo with 4 electro rings around it's shaft. It has some size/shape morphs to play with. There is a pre-assembled dildo 2 figure with cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Electro Box 1: This is a generic but cool looking Electro shock box. It's got several cable jacks and posable dials/toggle switches and meter needles. The box has some size/shape morphs built in if you want to add more control panels from other products onto it. There is a 'cable box' part that can be moved around and used as a receptacle for cables. There is a pre-assembled Electro Box 1 figure with cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Electro Box 2: This is another generic but cool looking Electro shock box. It's got several cable jacks and posable dials/toggle switches and meter needles. The box has some size/shape morphs built in if you want to add more control panels from other products onto it. There is a 'cable box' part that can be moved around and used as a receptacle for cables. There is a pre-assembled Electro Box 2 figure with cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Electro Crank: This is a cool crank figure you can use to add to the side of one of the electro box figures in the event you don't have a source of electricity. position and parent it as needed. There some some size/shape morphs built into the figure. Electro Shelf: This is a simple shelf figure with morphs for size/shape and shelf height adjustments. You can put your equipment on it. There is a pre-assembled shelf with Electro box figures with cables already plugged into them available in the Assemblies subfolder. NOTE ABOUT NIPPLE CLAMPS: V4.2++ figure is required to use in conjunction with the nipple clamp poses in order to extrude V4's nipples. There is a default positioning pose file in the pose library as well as a breast pose file for V4.2++ figure. Parent the nipple clamp figures to V4's 'chest' body part prior to applying poses. If you alter V4's breasts in any way, you must manually move and position one of the clamps to the correct location and mirror the result to the other side. Nipple Clamp 1: A new and unique looking nipple clamp figure. This set of clamps fit around your figures nipples and can be secured in place with the piercing bolt. Each clamp has some size/shape morphs for adjustment and a morph to remove the bolt if you don't want it seen. This figure is symmetrical mirroring so you really just need to position one and mirror the result to the other side. The "base" body part of the clamps is a non-rendering sphere that is displayed as a wireframe in poser, this is used to move both clamps around at the same time. There is a default positioning pose file in the pose library as well as a breast pose file for V4.2++ figure. Parent the nipple clamp figure to V4's 'chest' body part prior to applying poses. Nipple Clamp 2: Another new and unique looking nipple clamp figure. This set of clamps fit around your figures nipples and squeeze together. Each clamp has some size/shape morphs for adjustment. If you use the 'bend', 'squeeze' and 'spread' morphs, you will have to adjust the cords (if used) positions slightly. This figure is symmetrical mirroring so you really just need to position one and mirror the result to the other side. The "base" body part of the clamps is a non-rendering sphere that is displayed as a wireframe in poser, this is used to move both clamps around at the same time. There is a default positioning pose file in the pose library as well as a breast pose file for V4.2++ figure. Parent the nipple clamp figure to V4's 'chest' body part prior to applying poses. Tongue Clamp: This is the same as Nipple Clamp 2 except there is only the one clamp and no base. The clamp has some size/shape morphs for adjustment. If you use the 'bend', 'squeeze' and 'spread' morphs, you will have to adjust the cords (if used) positions slightly. There is a default positioning pose file in the pose library as well as a face pose file for V4.2++ figure. Parent the tongue clamp figure to V4's 'head' body part prior to applying poses. There is a pre-assembled tongue clamp figure with cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Plugs 1-3: These are butt plug style plugs with some electro ring or pad surfaces. There are some size/shape morphs to play with. There are pre-assembled plug figures with cable already plugged into it available in the Assemblies subfolder. Restraint 2: This is a frame style restraint with 4 fully posable arm/leg mounting systems with cuff hooks. There are size/shape morphs on most parts and the figure is symmetrical mirroring so you can pose one half of the restraint and one half of your character and mirror the results to the other side. The top bar of the figure has the arm cuff mounts attached to it. There is a non-rendering sphere shaped "base" body part that is used to move the entire figure around. Pose files for V4 and matching poses for the restraint are provided in the pose library. Parent your character to the "base" body part before applying the poses. The basic "sci-fi" smart prop cuffs must be used in conjunction with these pose files. These are available in the props library: Davo/Basic Scifi Cuffs Restraint 2 Shock Pad: This is an additional figure to add to the Restraint 2 figure if you chose, it's looks very cool when used with the restraint. There are 2 battery cables on the bottom of the shock pad. Both battery cables have easypose bending technology built in. The very first segment of the cable (*000) has an overall length morph that adjusts the full cable length. There are master bending nodes every 20 segments, for example *001, *020, *040 etc. In Poser, the master bending nodes are displayed as a wireframe in preview mode, but will render correctly. Restraint 2 Combo: This is a pre-parented Restraint 2 figure with the shock pad already added. There are pose files for V4 and matching poses for the restraint 2 figure and shock pad in the Restraint 2 Combo folder in the pose library. Water Basin: This is a galvanized metal tub with a water surface that can be used in conjunction with the shock therapy. The water surface has some water surface turbulance morphs to simulate movement. The surface can be adjusted up and down and you can use the Depth and Width parameters to adjust it's size. ----------------------------- Assemblies Folder: This folder has some of the above mentioned figures with cables/cords already pre-parented to them. This will save you the time of having to add a cord. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props Libraries: Basic Scifi Cuffs Library: (same cuffs are available for Genesis 8 male and female in the DazStudio Version) Note: These cuffs are used in conjunction with most of the restraint equipment poses in the Chamber 4 packages. V4_M4: These are for V4 and M4 figures. These libraries contain smart prop cuffs to use in conjunction with the most of Davo's packages. These smart props will automatically position and parent to your characters. To apply the cuffs, click on your character in your preview window, then click to add each cuff, they will position automatically. Davo/Chamber 4/Electro Pack: Prods 1 and 2: These are stand alone and smart prop version of a couple of hand held shock prods. Each prod has some size shape morphs to play with. There are hand pose files in the hands library for M4 and V4. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pose Libraries: Note: Poses will get your default character "close" to positioning, you may have to make some minor adjustments if your character is heavily morphed or scaled. Parent your V4 character (or clamp figures) to the part specified in this readme or the informational png file in the pose library itself before applying the poses. Then click on the device and apply the device pose, then click on your character and apply the character pose. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hand Libraries: There is a right hand pose for M4 and V4 for shaping the hand to hold the prods. Click on M4 or V4 then apply the hand pose for the right hand. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES ABOUT RAYTRACING AND GAMMA CORRECTION: Raytrace properties have been built into the material zones on these figures. In order to take advantage of raytracing in Poser, you will have to 'enable' raytracing in the render properties settings. I suggest a minimum of 2 raytrace bounces. More bounces will slow down rendering times. ***NOTES ABOUT RENDERING/GAMA CORRECTION IN POSER PRO 2012 AND HIGHER VERSIONS*** This packages textures and material zones were assigned in Poser 8.
